Fixes for the Imperial Edition and Pre-Order

Post » Sat Feb 22, 2014 8:28 pm

Another person wanting everything handed to them for free. If you want to play an imperial then buy the imperial edition, its a choice that everyone can make as there are no limits as to who can get the imperial edition. Every game has options like this, whether it be a collectors edition or purchases you can make in game so what makes this game any different?

Wrong. I think you meant Pre-Order. IE is much more in cost. In my Country I pay £10 for Pre-Order.

He's saying that you posted inaccurate information (not the first time this has happened, if I recall one of your earlier threads correctly...).

The standard pre-order is $59.99. The IE is $79.99. It's a $20 price difference. Which clearly means it's pay-to-win, because if people spend money, it can only result in massive, game-changing advantages.

Is it a forum advantage if you get beat a dead imprerial horse vs. a regular edition one?

Also, you know who is going to be SERIOUSLY disappointed? All these people that buy the CE expecting to "win" and then log in and still have to play the same game. I mean, are they ever in for a shock!

Right?

I'd love to find all these people who are supposedly spending the extra $20 while rubbing their hands together and cackling maniacally over how much of an advantage they just got over every other player.

Discount codes change regularly, and 3rd-party discounts don't change the standard pricing. Plus, as someone already mentioned, that code also works on the standard edition, so there's still a bigger price gap.

Yet again, people assuming that everybody getting IE is 'Paying to Win'.

I like the Bonuses yes, however, I love the Physical stuff and that made my decision to buy it.

Their website error for NZ IPs (didn't recognise my country and thought I was from Europe for some reason) meant I paid in Euros, god only knows what that worked out to in NZ dollars, but let's say well over the going rate.

Try the greenmangaming site and see what it lists as the price for you in £ at least it will give others a general idea of cost. I also don't like to buy games off the internet but always end up doing it, i live about 30 miles from the nearest store that sells games which svcks, like 40-50 miles from a bestbuy which really svcks cause they have better trade in offers than gamestop. I am also capped on bandwidth which svcks only get 350gb a month.

Haha, suddenly it makes sense why you're screaming in the face of logical arguements. You're willing to pay that much to have an edge over on players...and you're going to throw a tantrum at anyone who tells you that what you're doing is wrong.

I also love to resort ad hominem when I have no substantive points to make.

You've been asked over and over again to explain how I'm going to have an edge over you. Am I going to be hitting you with more speed and power during PvP? Will I have access to a super-secret game area that only Imperials can get to? What will I have that offers me any substantive advantage?

Umm hes getting the physical edition which includes more than in-game items for the money which is why it is more expensive. Besides you gain 0 advantage with the imperial edition, its all in your head.

Yet another misconception. I'm Purchasing the Physical Imperial Edition. Guess why? Because I like the Physical Stuff. I never said I am gaining a Digital advantage, although I do think I am gaining Exclusive Content. I haven't 'screamed' at all. I simply like Purchasing the absolute Premium Exclusive Content.
