Fixing Crimson Eviscerator

So the Crimson Eviscerator has this really nice enchantment effect of weakness to poison, but no duration, which means the effect is never used. While many other glitchy aspects of CE were fixed with the unofficial patch, this was not one of them. So I decided to try and fix it myself, only when I changed the enchantments (giving a 15 sec. duration for all leveled versions), the TESCS stuck my changes in a new enchantment named (original enchantment name)DUPLICATE000. I just want to know one thing: Why? Why must the TESCS fight me on this issue and not let me change the enchantment? The Morrowind TESCS never gave me this kind of trash...

Oh, and now I can't play Oblivion, the game crashes before the Bethesda logo can come up... Help please!

Edit: Never mind, problem solved, conflict with other mod...

What's a Crimson Eviscerator and what mod does it come from?

Is that mod solely and ESP, or does it have an ESM as well?

Ah. Then you either edit DLCVileLair.esp directly, or use TES4Edit to "copy as override into" the Unofficial Official Mods Patch for it and change the value there.
