My Argonian character will be sure to wear fur boots (if we can wear boots) and a fur helm. ;)

is this a poll about argonians or what music you listen to?

This is the scariest poll I've read for a while - you want to know my age and if i have problems with my father - hmm - what is going on here?

Obviously Argonians are facultative endotherms. Who are also most likely homeothermic as well. No magical explanation needed.

unless they referenced something in oblivion that i missed i go by what was stated last. the last thing i heard was about this subject was the argonian at the docks in solsthiem who said that "even warm bloods dont like it up here". that clearly indicates that he was cold blooded. so either they will have to completely change the lore in skyrim and say that argonians are warm blooded or they will have to say something like some argonians are warm blooded and others are cold blooded. apparently birthsigns have a big effect on how argonians specialize so being warm blooded or cold blooded based on birthsign wouldnt be that much of a stretch. thats how i would do it anyways. even if they just up and do a 180 it certainly first time they have adjusted lore.

and before someone says that morrowind treated argonians differently than other games.........argonians also used to have hair in daggerfall. clearly they are not using daggerfall argonians anymore so im judging by morrowind and oblivion argonians.

How do you know that Argonian wasn't referring to other Argonians as warm bloods? Also take into consideration that the people who wrote the original lore are not the same people who wrote that dialog. Todd said himself that we the fans have done a better job of keeping track of the lore than they have. Him just making that statement publicly, indicates they've made an effort to rectify that oversight.

There is no 'end all' link, or source to their temp regulating system. We can only go by logic. Logically they are not cold blooded. If there were to be a definitive source it would be in Notes on Racial Phylogeny, which it isn't.

Sweet thanks, but the only think it doesnt give a straight answer to the cold-blooded debate

but it doest show since Argonians dont lay eggs they are different from other reptiles, so its possible that they can survive the cold from other non-mention means Bethesda has yet to explain

They are going to survive in Skyrim the same way they didn't had to sleep during winter in Daggerfall or Arena...

And the origins of all beast races are shrouded in mystery so figuring out what Argonians supposed to be would be pretty impossible.

Logic.

Bethesda Lore is not a thing of logic.

There actually cold blooded.

Now it doesn't have the cold blooded description in the USEP for argonians.....wtf?

You edited it didn't you?

Obviously they are not cold blooded. Everything points to them not having to rely on exothermy.

I dont need UESP to know the lore. Therefore I wouldnt have edited it.

Argonians are warm-blooded and cold-blooded.

They also lay eggs and don't lay eggs.

It depends on how many times they lick the Hist, one would assume.

From BlueDev (mark nelson):

Never underestimate the adaptability of
Argonians, or, more specifically, the power of the
Hist to allow Argonians to adapt.

I wouldn't expect to hear an Argonian born in
Skyrim (or on Solstheim, for that matter) mention
being hatched. Nor would I expect to hear more
transient Argonians (say, members of a small,
nomadic tribe) speak about laying eggs. However,
in warmer climates, in places with established,
stable, and permanent communities, you would
likely see a great number of eggs

Argonians are a "meh" for me. I like that there's another fleshed-out race in the lore, but other than that I don't actually care that much about them or their homeland. I certainly don't wish for an elder scrolls game to ever take place there.
