Crucial tech support told me that their flash devices (not ssds) are more reliable than burnt CD/DVDs. Data retention is guaranteed to be 10 years, they claim actually it's much more. Flash drives came out in 2001, why isn't there any long term experimental results out yet?

Also, they say the usb keys are more reliable since they use bigger cells than the SD cards. Is that true?
