Flashes on the Landscape

Post » Wed Sep 01, 2010 7:04 pm

Does anyone else get odd flashes here and there on the landscape. Sort of like brief, white flashes.
I have a Q9550 CPU, Nvidia 480GTX, 6GB of Ram.
The flashes occur with both the latest driver and the previous.
The flashes occur regardless of whether I have 3D Vision enabled.

I can live with it for now but as everything else runs perfect, I find it a bit annoying.

It's an issue with AA and HDR being enabled together.

Install the newest Nvidia drivers (260.99). The Fallout:NV profile in these drivers has been updated to correct this issue.

Do you use that dll file ?

i know that makes alittle flashing.
When i used latest driver without the dll file the game was good except for slideshow performace, with dll the performance is "ok" but with alittle flashing.

I use the .dll fix with the 260.99 drivers and a GTX480, and no flashing.

Turning AA off in the options appears to have cured it. Thanks everyone.

That's not a fix.... the game looks like butt w/ antialiasing off. This is happening with all newer nvidia cards FYI.
