As flawed as this game may be...

...there are times when I about jump out of my chair in enthusiasm. My favorite is seeing a satisfying finish administered to someone who deserves it. Tonight Benny's life ended after a mauler attack from my sledgehammer. He went crashing through the bar, knocking down bottles and shot glasses - the next was a fatal blow to the head before he could even get a shot off.

Yep. It pretty much made my day...

Yeah i'd have to agree.. i mean these bugs are way worse the fallout3, so im gonna say its obsidian's fault.. but without the bugs.. obsidian made fallout better... without the bugs.

Personally I have to say that my game is near perfect in stability. I've had some minor issues but nothing big I can't see passed.

Yeah, I don't know what they changed, but I definitely see more spectacularly awesome kill animations here than I did in Fallout 3. Maybe it's just that I'm using Melee and Unarmed weapons and/or companions more often here. Things all kind of die the same way with Fawkes at your side. On the other hand, there's something hilariously startling about seeing a Freeside thug (who you hadn't even realized was there) suddenly fly past you with an arm missing, and then Veronica suddenly walks into view.

I can't see why people complain about bugs, because my game's never frozen and I have only had one frame-rate drop (which only lasted one second). This game is way better than Fallout 3, IMO.

@coinop25 They've re-designed the the running animations, kill animations, added a bunch of new enemies, a bunch of new weapons, NPCs, made the enemies harder to kill, traits, more perks, more places, more color, ect...

What have they not changed?

Even with all the bugs like followers disappearing, getting stuck in the ground and the game thinks you are in the air, corrupted saves, corrupted autosaves, freezing, lag, script bugs, and falling through the floor (the Train Tunnel)....wait what was I saying?

Oh, right, the game is still good even with all of those issues that still haven't been fixed (360). Also the ending is crap, RPGs should continue even if there's nothing to do just to see the outcome of what happened. Bethesda made that mistake with Fo3 and now Obsidian made the same mistake in NV

I had FO3 on the PS3 and this game is an improvement over that. FO3 ran like butter on my PC, but I can't compare the FNV version because I don't have it on that platform.

So far it's been great.... the subtle changes make me want to stay in Vegas before ever going back to the DC wasteland. The Mojave feels like people have been struggling to build a society back for a while, like the timeline on the post war is a little more accurate to what would happen with people. I like the feel of the world and the play style a lot bette. Some things I didn't see the value of at first like the perk every other level, but when I finished with two totally different and balanced characters I really appreciated it. In FO3 you could start with any kind of intention and then be sitting at all 100's in every category and 10 on specials. It made the main character hard to attach and relate to because it could've been any generic man.

The game is awesome, the love is deserved, and I'm looking forward to all the DLC I can get (on PS3! C'mon Obsidian!)
