Flawless Diamonds

Just found myslef a couple of these
I understand that they are very rare, what is they best use for them?

Saving them to make Jewelry to boost the Smithing Skill from 90 to 100.

I keep them. Even though I have Prowler's Profit, they are still pretty rare. I currently have 540ish Flawless Diamonds. Probably enough to take control of all of Tamriel.

They increase the value of the Smithed Item, which gives a bigger boost to the skill level than making a cheap piece of jewelery.

The rate of experience gained is based on the value of the item being crafted, Flawless Gems are required for the valuable Jewelry. Flawless Diamonds are also good for resale. Flawless Diamonds (and Garnets) do not have a use in a certain DLC added Spider Scroll device.
