Just curious how many people know where this is near the start of the game?

To find it after leaving Anise’s Cabin head southeast towards river, drop down on a ledge and follow it south west to find the skeleton of a deer or elk and the emerald is inside it. Nice way to boost your cash early game, along with Treasure Map 1.

I happened across this in the game guide the other day, but I keep forgetting to go look for it.
