Haven't played Morrowind in years and decided to try it again. I installed Morrowind, Tribunal, Bloodmoon and the official patches for them. After doing some research I also installed MGSO 3. Wow! I love the way it looks. I added the "A good place to stay" mod, because who wouldn't want their own house and came across the problem with the table inside where the error message says I'm missing a mesh. After a little more research I found the patch for MGSO and decided to apply it.
Now I have what looks like flickering Christmas tree lights on some of the trees, especially those that look like weeping willows (you see a lot of them in Seyda Neen). If I continue playing, it goes from flickering white lights all over those trees to flickering colored lights on the trees and eventually to flickering lights on people too. This is only visible at night in the game.
I figured it must be something in the patch, and couldn't figure out how to just get rid of the patch, (I don't have much in the way of computer skills!) so I deleted everything, game, MGSO, patch and all and re-installed just the game (including Tribunal etc.). Played for a bit, no flickering lights. Added MGSO 3 but not the patch and am still getting the lights.
Any advice would really be appreciated. I don't want to stop playing but the flickering lights are annoying and since they seem to be getting worse, I'm afraid the game will become unplayable soon.
Thanks, Jazheira
