One of the weird parts of playing a thief character in Oblivion is that while food will grow back in its original spot, the dishes, plates, and such won't -- so you have food that simply floats in place until Havok notices. The same applies to other regenerating things, but I think it's the haunted food that gets to me most. Plus, I'm playing a repentant thief, and it'd be nice to have him put things back where they belong (preferably without increasing the save file size). I really wish there were a tool like Morrowind's Enchanted Editor that allowed you to remove records, perhaps resetting cells to pristine conditions. Yes, it could lead to abuses, but so can the CS and console. Does anybody have a tool available that can do it? I suppose I could open the CS and mark all the plates and such to respawn, but that'd be a tremendous drag.
