Flow of the game

Post » Tue Dec 17, 2013 5:24 am

Hi, I'm going to buy Skyrim and would like to know on how smooth game allow the parameters of my computer. Namely, if I had lag, brickbats or things like that. I looked at the requirements - the game will go on minimum but not on recomended, so I'd like to know if I can smoothly play scriptures (eg, how many fps) and enjoy the game. Computer parameters:

Windows XP 32 Bit
Intel Core 2 Duo 2.4 GHz E4600
2.75 GB RAM
GeForce GT 220 1 GB

I have enough disk space, DirectX compatible if you need more details I can edit.
Of course, I am able to change to low all the options in the game that went smoothly.

It will be a little worse than that. (In that resolution as the video shows, i thing at 1280x720 on medium you should get 20-30 fps)

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zvNXaXMdAYE

I don't know how playable it will be, in a battle with lot's of NPC's !!!!! (probably below 20 fps !!!!)

-------------

If you don't mind you can play it at 800x600 too, but not lower...

And if you disable all the graphical goodies like Antialiasing, Anisotropic Filtering, especially shadows, you should get above 40 fps !!!!

------------

Try that please first with Vsync=disabled !!!!!

The point was to get you to ask in that thread. It's there to keep these questions all in one place.

In any case, your GPU is too weak for the game.

See here: http://www.game-debate.com/games/index.php?g_id=625&game=The+Elder+Scrolls+V&p_make=Intel&p_deriv=Core+2+Duo+E4600+2.4GHz&gc_make=Nvidia&sli=1&gc_deriv=GeForce+GT+220+1GB&ram=3&checkSubmit=#systemRequirements

Actually either way you buy a new CPU, but that means a new Mobo, new Ram modules. (as your LG775 Mobo is a bit weak for sach games like skyrim !!!!)

...and a new Graphic card as well !!!!!

...or you buy 1 GB ram more, and a faster Graphic card.

-----------------------

If you want to play skyrim so badly, the second choice would do the trick...

but otherwise i recommend you to buy a new PC, if you can in the future !!!!!!
