I was looking at the achievements, and I saw on whose picture of what looks like a cockpit.

The achievement is called Volare! it is the 2nd to last achievement.

Volare is also Italian for fly.

maybe its a mission where you have to collect parts to fix a broken down vertiberd for someone.

Its a quest achievement. There must be a main quest near the end of the story involving a plane or flying or a vertibird perhaps?

You won't be driving any cars or planes.

If you're talking about Mr.House being a robot, then I'm not sure. Contested 'tis my soul, if they do it well I have no problem.
If you're talking about Mr.House winning, I think that there are achievements for the three ways you beat the game.

Perhaps the endgame involves some kind of air sequence or a battle in a helicopter/plane... if they do it right that would be damn awesome.

No man, I don't mind him winning. Hell, I WANT him to come out as the victor. I just really want him to be the Suave Pre-War businessman he is claimed to be. (His pre-release bio is that he was cryogenically frozen and then unfrozen after the war.)
