FNIS Remnant Removal Tool (beta)

Download: http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/60695

Usage: Extract batch file to the directory of your choice and follow prompts. Files and folders will be deleted, and a log of such will be created. At this stage the file will not run from the 7z archive.

Issues: This may not function as expected (but will not cause damage) if anyone has a ! in any of their Skyrim directory names leading up from the root directory.

Why? Wish to clean out Skyrim and start again? Or just uninstall FNIS?
The authors motivation was that in working with the CK some of the character packages were not as expected with the hkx files installed.
FNIS is a great program, and though the intention is to retain it permanently for modding purposes, an automated removal tool would be nice.

Points toward a fully stable release:

  • Possibility of LANG variants
  • Cater for ! in filenames
  • Run file out of archive
  • Integration into FNIS package
  • Bells & Whistles (who wants 'em anyway?)
