FNV Hardest Legendary

There's a Enclave Helmet in there? The LC was IMO the easiest "boss" in game... I went in that cave at lvl 18 with an assault carbine, ED-E and Veronica (Hunting Shotgun). The battle was over so quick I didn't even realize I had killed it untill I found the body,

OT: none of the legendary creatures were "hard," but the bloatfly was a nasty surprise...

There's two suits of Enclave Power Armor available in the game (not including the Tesla Armor).

The armor is
Spoiler
located in an unmarked location in the middle of nowhere across the river filled with Mother Deathclaws, Alpha Deathclaw males, and the Legendary deathclaw. It's on a prospector corpse right next to another prospector with full T-51b

The helmet is located somewhere in the cave. I had to look a while for it.

There is a ledge where the helmet is. Up there you can casually shoot at the legendary cazadore and it just sort of freaks out, fights over.

Had a harder time with the Giant Robo-Scorpion in OWB than Rawr. He does hit like a Mack truck, though.

The Legendary Cazador is pretty easy too if you can sneak and pick off quick.

I nominate Waking-Cloud as hardest obstacle in the game

The first time I actively sought out any of the Legendaries, I was playing an "And Stay Back!" build shotguns character, I was hit once by the Bloatfly, once by the Deathclaw, not at all by the others.

And Stay Back is friggen broken.

Just run to the terminal and shut him off. Easy Peasy.

Only legendary I ever had any trouble with was the L. Nightstalker. Before I learned about Animal Friend, don't'cha'know.

Rawr was checkmate in two. There was no challenge.
Spoiler
Hit him with the flare gun, then detonate the nuke over his head. /Rawr

Legendary Deathclaw, bloatfly is very strong indeed but it's very easy to avoid it's attacks.

The Legendary Deathclaw.

The others are either weak (fire gecko and nightstalker) or easy to talk down with the compliance regulator. The Legendary Deathclaw is surrounded by other deathclaws, so the Compliance Regular isn't really effective in that situation.

I must be the only person who has trouble with the Legendary Cazador? Yeah, the Legendary deathclaw is definitely on-par with it for hardest Legendary, though.

EDIT: I hope people realize that the Boatfly has about twice as much health as the Legendary Deathclaw. I had no problem with it, though, because its attacks were very easy to avoid.

EDIT 2: Well, it seems like Specimen 73 has even more health than the Legendary Cazador. I think the problem I have with the Cazador is the fact that it randomly spawns once you kill a number of Cazadors, and I never bother to look up because I'm too cocky running around with my Riot Shotgun (empowered by And Stay Back! and Shotgun Surgeon)

Riot Shotgun with Magnum rounds, Shotgun Surgeon, And Stay Back! and Cass with the Medicine Stick filled with plenty of SWC rounds, made Dead Wind Cavern and the Deathclaw Promontory a stroll.

Does Rawr count? Otherwise it's the bloatfly.

I had to fight Rawr 5 times. If I missed with the flare gun, I was dead before I reloaded.

In that it makes you invincible if you have Rapid Reload and a Riot Shotgun.

Okay rawrs a badass so yes he does count
Didn't have a problem with rawr, one flare and he cowers while I smash hs face with Oh Baby. It's the legendary deathclaw that causes me the most trouble, too many deathclaws in a small cave.

For the people wondering what I meant by broken, And Stay Back is broken in the "This is way too overpowered way." I cruised through most of the game using magnum rounds in a 20ga Lever-Action Shotgun, so I was doing less damage than I could be doing and having to handload every few shots, which wasn't nearly enough of a crutch.

Since And Stay Back's knockdown chance is applied to every single pellet, that x7 and x9 you see on your shotgun is 7-9 chances for the knockdown to occur. None of the legendaries managed to lay a finger on me other than the Deathclaw getting the drop on me, and giving the Bloatfly a free shot because I wanted to see how much of it I could take. As soon as I had them in my sights, though, they spent the entire encounter laying on the floor.

Everything from robo-scorpions to legendary beasts to fully kitted out assassin squads all met the same fate, spending all their time in a crumpled knockdown state, utterly trounced by a [censored] with a lever-action shotgun.

That's true, but I see it as a trade off. In order to be good with shotguns you need to focus on them and ignore other useful perks.

The Bloatfly is a friggin' joke even though it has 2,000 hitpoints.

Just Lucky I'm Alive, Finesse, Better Criticals, Built to Destroy, 10 LCK, Elite Riot Gear and a True Police Story magazine all combined makes for a one-shot kill on Very Hard with a Holorifle.

I watched its health go from 2,000 to 100 in an instant, and then watched as the Holorifle quickly drained his health right until he died and melted down, killing all of the other bloatflies nearby because it was a huge explosion.

RAWR - definitely. First time I encountered that beast of a "deathjaw" I think I dropped dead just from a sheer heart attack! LOL

And OMG, I 100% agree about the Legendary Bloatfly. I was like pfffffffffff this will be easy, but sheesh it turned into a fight for my life! Holy cow, never expected that! LOL
I seriously had less trouble with the Legendary Cazador...

The Cazador is [censored] frightening because it randomly spawns when you least expect, and flies at about 275 miles per hour. Not to mention it's bigger than the Legendary Deathclaw or Rawr by a ton. AND IT FLIES.

I'd have to say that Rawr is the hardest if we can include him. The first time I encountered him, he scared me out of my computer seat and killed me in a few blows on a DiD character  .

Well, yea, I never said that the Cazador isn't frightening, but if you trap her in that cave and then pelt her from the ridge above, she can't hardly reach you! She can't sting you (cripple wings even better) BUT the dang bloatfly shoots like plasma at you! LOL

Oh yea RAWR scared me so bad, I didn't even think about the dang flare gun! LOL

I know the first battle with Rawr took me 2 or three tries. I think I finally remembered to use the flare gun, then Holorifled his sorry ass.

Yea, I died like 3 times, then I froze him with the flair and used the Red Glare Rocket launcher and blew his ugly butt off the planet! First time I ever used a rocket launcher to kill anything in Fallout hahahaha
