FNV....possibly...just possibly.. the best game of this cent

Post » Wed Nov 30, 2011 3:39 pm

I know the game hasnt even been released but i've been around the fnv block a few times and watched most of the videos out there and really to me it seems that fnv is fo3 but about 2 to 3 times better with its full potential realized... but then again this IS just speculation... Obsidion may be one of my favorite developers from now on man. but we wont really know till the games released now will we.

Edit: so far released this century i mean... video games 50 years from now i have no doubt will be better than fnv im just saying SO FAR best game.

God no, it's 90 years left of this century, no way it's the best game for the 21st century.

Surely, you jest!

Edit: I just realized you might mean decade. In that case, I still disagree, but don't think you're a fool (fool... jester... get it?).

This century just started.
It depends on your preferences, some people may like Crysis 2 better. In terms of gameplay time and repeatability, New Vegas definitely takes the cake.

if the judges base the game on its content and not sales then it will defiantly make game of the year. but not game of the century. its only 2010

New Vegas is a GOTY contender definitely, but for game of the century I preferred 2064's Elder Scrolls VIII.

If there was a game of the century, it would most likely be 'Call Of Duty/Halo: We ran out of ideas 90 years ago, but we still churn this junk out because you fools buy it! Yay us!'

It's hard to say is New Vegas is going to be great, good, average, needs work or terrible until we've all played it. I'm looking forward to finding out. Not long left to go.

Games coming out in 2015, COD, Halo - probably, FIFA, another Rockstar game that brings nothing new to gaming most likely, movie games. The usuals basically, probably another Guitar Hero as well.

Unbiased perspective: WoW.
Biased perspective: New Vegas.
Goldfish perspective: Deus Ex.

Unbiased perspective: Pokemon
Biased perspective: Arcanum Deus Ex Duke 3D Fallout 2 X-COM Darklands FALLOUT!
Goldfish The Nameless One perspective: Planescape: Torment

Seriously, though, I do think New Vegas will be very good- definitely my GOTY (unless it's REALLY BAD) after maybe STALKER: CoP and Mount and Blade: Warband. Still!

Nobody has played "Red Dead Redemption" here? NV will be a very good game in itself, but there is too many games out there with equal level of game play and far superior GFX out there this year.

Played Red Dead Redemption, terrible game. Generic, bland, boring main typical Rockstar lead, boring game in general. Nice setting though, nice theme. But yet another boring Rockstar game that I begged my friend who had loaned me it to take it back barely a day after he loaned it to me, five hours was more than enough to be bored to tears by such a boring main lead and nothing to keep me playing.

Pity, I quite like the Wild West history. Until Rockstar start having female leads in their games for a change and have better ideas, then I won't be bothering with their games. Got fed up of their games with the GTA series.
