FNV unofficial patch?

Is there a FNV Unofficial Patch in the works? I loved those for Oblivion and Fallout 3. They got rid of a lot of bugs and floating meshes and missing textures.

Personally there's no point until a first full patch is released, because that'll be the one that breaks and fixes stuff. And having to redo a buttload of stuff from scratch after doing everything the first time, after a couple of emergency fixes really isn't the best way to do it.

Yeah I thought so too, but does that mean we'll have to wait until the very last FNV patch has been released for this project to start? They can at least start compiling a list of all the bugs and misplaced meshes that people have confirmed, and check them of the list if an official patch fixes them.

No. Generally first patch most of the big stuff is fixed. Once that happens, you can start fixing the other stuff. And other patches which fix/change things can then be disabled or removed from the community patch. It's easier to let the devs get a running start and fixing stuff before we start doing it, otherwise it's just wasted effort.
