i wasnt old enough to play the Original FO's when they came out [ 24 ] ** [35.29%]

So you're saying nobody should like FO3 better than the originals even if they played them?

FO1 was the best if you ask me. I enjoyed Fallout 2, but I didn't like its entire tone. Where was the retro-futurism? The desolation? I know things can change greatly over the course of two generations, but if I didn't know better, I could say Fallout 2 felt like a western or something. It just didn't feel Fallouty, you know?

Yeah. ~And the Heads in FO1 were better and there were a lot more of them.

FO1 all the way for me.
I found it simple and focused - which is a real achievement for such an open game
(though it's 'simplicity' and 'focus' are probably a result of its very short -for an RPG- duration - so sometimes less is more

)
Fallout 2 was great but it unavoidably had the problems of any long and ambitious game.
I haven't played BOS (or tactics for that matter) but from what I read I probably don't want to anyway...
and FO3... well... it's not my cup of tea.

am i that obvious :facepalm: , no really that was almost my intent :celebration:

i say no one who played the originals back than and played FO3 could say FO3 is the Better RPG game ...
so all those who like FO3 better are mostly like that:

3 its the only one i have played

or played it only recently and couldn't get over the "time barrier".

Didn't like FO2's talking heads. Most of them were all pasty-looking and gross. Not to mention the obnoxious camera angles instead of just facing them head-on like in Fallout 1.
