Hi everyone, I have a mystery that I cannot solve. I tried to before, but I gave up because no one seemed to know what to do. Hopefully you fallout 3 techs will help me fix this problem.

Here it is: (I play the PC version) every time I'm playing FO3 or any other game for that matter, my keyboard skips random keystrokes (a lot of times when I hit Tab, which is where my Pip Boy is located, it seems to not register the keystroke, which causes me to not pull up my Pip Boy, which in turn gets me killed...lol. The mouse basically skips clicks, lets say 15 out of a 100 clicks...usually when I'm firing a weapon, and even during dialog with NPCs. :brokencomputer:

This "Lag" or "Skipping" if you will is a mystery to me, and I'm tech savvy for sure. I've been building my own gaming PCs for 16 years and I can usually tell where the problem is. My only conclusion is that there's a problem with the motherboard, since I'm having both a keyboard problem, and a mouse problem with them communicating with the motherboard properly. I dunno. If you think you may have a solution to my problem, your help is greatly appreciated. :biggrin: :goodjob:

(side note: I've tried other keyboards and mice and it does it with them too. So I think it might be the motherboard. So then what? Do I have bad usb/ps2 ports, or bad drivers? It's a great mystery.)
