FO3 Not working on Win 7 : Fallout 3

Hey,

I installed the game to win 7 from the CD. and tried to start it. It didn't work

I follwed the instructions above

All that it changes is, that when I get to the game menu it says "setting your quality" then it sets it to very high. I press play, it closes and reappears and sets the quality to medium. Then when I press play it just closes and nothing happens. Can anybody help me so I can play one of my favorite games again?

first off if you can register it with Steam. they will do an update patch on it

second run windows update, you may be missing an update

go to the websight of your Graphics card and get the latest drivers.

4th *manualy* set your options to medium in the first game popup (the one that says play and options)
