Hello. I ended up trading in FO3 GOTY due to it constantly lagging and freezing on my PS3. It has been a few months and I really have a hankering to play again. I was just wondering if the original FO3 had the same freezing issues as the GOTY edition did, because if it does, there is no way I am getting it. I will just look for something else.

I only have experience with the original FO3 on PS3 and didn't have too much trouble with it. I had maybe a dozen freezes in 225hrs. From what I understand, the problems start when you add the DLC into the mix so if you stay away from the DLCs, you should be good.
