When I use the filter all I have on is conflict and crtical conflict the rest are not checked. In the second row under "conflict status for this particular recard" are all uncheck and still only have 9 that are colored the rest white. When I check all of those I still get only 9 with color to them rest white, but I still get that Assertion failure when I use the filter. How do I find out which mod is giveing me this failure? Conflict status inherited by parent is still checked too.

Ok I found the mod causeing the Assertion faliure. What can I do to fix this mod? Do I just resave it in geck or will that not fix it?
Ok Now when I run the filter they all have color.

hmmm just wondering is it clear why cleaning the DLCs messes things up or is it just "one of those Beth things"?

I am still getting these errors even after saveing these mods in geck. Is there anyway to fix this? Or Should I not use these mods?
[00:36] Background Loader: Error: record CONT contains unexpected (or out of order) subrecord DATA
Will these make my game crash?

I read the other threads but still alittle confused about how to fix these errors in these mods. Can you explain it in greater detail for this noob here.. lol

Oh and I am useing the FakePatch should I just delete this one and install the offical game patch?

What's the full error message? What file do you get this in?

First you need to resolve these issues with the modules you are using. Once that's done you can use FO3MasterUpdate and Patch 1.5.

Without using FO3MasterUpdate you should NOT use Patch 1.5 if you want to use mods.

thie also gave me the assertion faliure when I tried to find conflicts. I guess just to be curious how would I fix this issue. The mod seemed to work in game I tested it and destroyed some bathroom items but not sure if these errors will ruin my game in the long run.

Ah yes, I know that one. Spend a day cleaning it up and totally restructured it. Send that cleaned up version to the author. I would recommend not to use it till the he releases a new version.

I'm having an issue with a difference in behavior in my mod between the original esp and the esm created via MasterUpdate. I was hoping you might have some insight.

It's a relatively simple house mod. The problem is around the doors/teleport and companions. When the mod is an esp, going through the doors with companions works just fine (to the interior from the wasteland). However, after converting to an esm via MasterUpdate, the companions no longer follow me through the door. Doing a player.moveto 6a775 (dogmeat) shows me that they've been teleported to 0,0 for no apparent reason.

I never get any error messages from fo3edit/masterupdate about the mod.
I'm running the 1.5 versions of both fallout.exe and geck.exe.

More details can be found at http://www.gamesas.com/bgsforums/index.php?showtopic=995874&st=0&

Any insight/ideas?

Thanks. The only thing I would like to ask for in return is that anyone who finds FO3MasterUpdate useful enough to deserve a higher place in the Top50 at Fallout3Nexus goes there and gives it a rating higher then the current avg. rating.

About FO3MasterUpdate:

Could someone please take a look at my log and explain to me what do I have to do to make it work? Thanks.

EDIT: Why the BB code "codebox" didn't work? Sorry for the long post. I'll delete the list after getting my response in order to not pollute the thread.

When I loaded the mod in F03edit I only loaded this mod MalikaTheGypsyByAzarV1-2.esp is a compaion mod.

[oo] Fallout3.esm
[00] Fallout3.exe
[01] MalikaTheGypsyByAzarV1-2.esp

These are the only ones loaded. I saved in Geck and still didn't change the error.

[01] MalikaTheGypsyByAzarV1-2.esp

Where can I get that mod?

Yes, but it's there for a reason. Also, the 3 second delay gets reduced by a few fractions of a second every time you confirm that dialog till after a while it's completely gone...

Ok, it looks like GECK is indeed saving the DEST subrecord in the CONT records in a strange order. I'll update FO3Edit to handle that.

Elminster: A while ago, in the WMK REL thread 02 (http://www.gamesas.com/bgsforums/index.php?showtopic=956936&view=findpost&p=14036616), you were talking about making FO3Edit able to automatically merge 'OrderedList' formlists (which would be very handy in the context of add-ons for WMK being compatible with one another). Somewhere along the way since then I somehow got the impression that this was implemented in FO3Edit - mistakenly though, it seems; since automatic merged patch creation skipped over the OrderedLists involved when I was testing this out with a couple of WMK add-ons earlier today (with FO3Edit 2.4.0 experimental).

I was wondering: what's the status with this? Did it not work as expected? I must have missed some developments in the time since you were telling me about this back then. :)
