Hello! I didi a clean install of FWE. I have FOMM and FOSE previously installed and am not running any mods other than FWE.
I followed the load order in the instructions and created the merged patch file but the game crashes often. Very often.
I went back to try to do the FO3MasterUpdate but when I run that I get an error message:


Using Fallout3 Data Path: E:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Fallout 3 goty\Data\
Using ini: C:\Users\Admin\Documents\My Games\Fallout3\Fallout.ini
Fatal: Could not find ini

Can anyone please clue me in to what I'm doing wrong? Any help much appreciated!

Did you move the game files after you installed the game? Are the files in the locations that are show in the error message? Is FO3 Edit, Master Update and Master Restore loaded in your Fallout 3 folder?
Do you have any problem running FO3 Edit?
