My FO4 Twitch Feedback

Post » Wed Dec 02, 2015 2:08 pm

Hello Community. I am new to the forums but, not new to the Fallout Series. I have been playing it for awhile, and I have plenty of friends who have been playing it longer than I have.

It is my understanding that we can't talk about leaked information correct? If so I am going to give my feed back as a Twitch Streamer until further notice. I will also say one thing about Fallout New Vegas.

Fallout New Vegas in my opinion showed the poor balancing by Devs. I hope they don't have a repeat of where Energy Weapons are way better than Guns in Fallout 4. Pistols always got shafted in the fact that rifles did more damage than them. Finally I hope they make more silenced weapons available. You wern't given a lot of good silenced weapons besides the Sniper Rifle and Anti Material Rifle.

As for Twitch.. Twitch has way too many streamers on at any given time, and not enough tools to help new Streamers, or current Streamers. Getting any kind of viewage is near impossible no matter how much you try. It's mostly based on luck.

There are some Streamers who have been around for an entire year and never have reached more than 500 followers. That is how bad Twitch is on any given day.

Knowing this, I am furious with Bethesda. Twitch is allowing anyone with written permission to Stream on the 9th. If you look at the people with that permission, it's people who are already well established on Twitch and have no competition. The way Bethesda makes me feel in this regard is that they see Twitch as a business. They would rather give early access to someone who can give them a good name. They don't care about any of these small Streamers struggling to get viewers. That is what infuriates me. I believe that games, and websites like Twitch are suppose to be a community. It isn't much of one when it gets treated like a business. It's hard for me to explain.

It doesn't help my frustration levels when I see close friends of mine getting to play it even earlier than Twitch. My French friend, got her copy YESTERDAY. She is already playing the full version on Playstation! WTF!

If I am not able to get early Stream access, I would of at least appreciated playing it early so I could get a head start on making tips, and trick recordings to at least give me some hope of getting attention to my channel.

That is my current stand point on Bethesda and Fallout 4. Take it for what you will

ok... Bethesda are reaching out to established reviewers and streamers,

and you're upset because as a small streamer who struggles to get views, you don't get to play the game in advance for free

as you would have liked to get more views with streaming Fallout 4 click bait.

Oh, and the reason you don't have many followers is Twitch's fault.

I think Bethesda made the right choice.

Seems like your complaints about Twitch should be taken to Twitch.

If someone does have written permission to stream a day early (not sure if I believe that's the case) it's likely because they are press. They have earned that privilege.

It's not Bethesda's job (or Twitch's) to ensure that everyone gets equal views.
