So I decided to give my follower Illia (she's a mage) an elf helmet and she dropped all armor and decided to go at it in her undies. I was pleasantly surprised. Apparently you can't wear a helmet on top of a magic robe. (even though she was not wearing her hood at the time. This game keeps amazing me!

The nvde mod is OK, but I'd like to see a "living" female nvde.

Maybe her robes and hood are one in the same? I know that happens with some necro robes

Worth trying out. No more chocolate and flowers. Elven helmet is where it's at.

I'll send a recommendation to Interflora, flowers and gifts delivery service to add Elven Helmets in their inventory.

I had a hard time getting Aranea Ienith to equip Elven armor. I finally got her to equip the boots and the gauntlets but, try what I might, I couldn't get her to equip the cuirass/greaves. At some point I gave her the Elven helmet. During our next battle I was shocked to see her decked out in in the entire set of Elven armor. I took her helmet away from her and - poof! - off comes the armor. I gave her the helmet back and - poof! - she puts the whole set back on again.

All I can figure is that companions have a script that prevents them from equipping cuirass/greaves without a helmet...

I smell new meme coming out!!!

Probably that's it. There mos def does not need a fix!
