Ok. So recently I started a new game on Fallout 3. I started the following in his footsteps quest and I killed Silver and I went back to the saloon but the marker was by the school house. I went to the marker and it took me in the water by a grenade box with some radaway by it. I checked the world map again and the marker was now in Megaton. Is this a glitch? Or did I just forget this part of the quest on my old saved game that I beat? I cant find Moriarty anywhere! Also If this helps any I am playing on the Xbox 360. Please respond asap.

You don't really need Moriarty. Go in the back of his bar in Megaton and crack the computer - or unlock the file cabinet next to the terminal and retrieve the password, then check the Terminal. It will advance your quest and you can just keep all the money you got from Silver, instead of paying Moriarty anything for the information.
