FONV=Love/Hate Relationship

Well I have played for about 30 hours now and the bugs and glitches just get worse. Longer load times/Quests not finishing properly/freaky graphics/gameplay issues(example: won't let me dismiss NCR soldier or if they die, won't let me get a new one) The list of bugs goes on forever.

I know alot of people aren't having problems and that is great, but alot of us are having major gameplay issues. I say Bethesda needs to jump on Obsidian's back over this garbage. FO3 did not nearly have this many bugs that I experienced IMO.

I love FONV but there are too many problems with it to enjoy, so I will go back and play something else while they sort this out.

I think the game is still unbalanced in a few ways also. FO3=Items were to cheap and now FONV= I think alot of stuff is WAY overpriced, ( 2000 to 3000 or more for crappy combat armor. Also I am level 14 and still can not barely put down a rad scorpion with these cruddy weapons and even a weapon mods do not help. The 10mm and 9mm SMGs are both bad. I know it is a short range weapon but I shouldnt have to be a foot from an enemies nose to kill it, nor should the bullet spread still be this bad fully repaired. Yes I know how to play the game to all those who will start the your not playing it right B.S.....LOL, Been playing FPS and RPGs since the early 90s.

I will return......to flame the NCR!!!! :flamethrower: You can count on it.

PEACE OUT and HAVE FUN everyone.......... :fallout:

I find New Vegas to be far superior to Fallout 3 in almost every way. From my experiences, I've had no significant bugs, only one crash(and I kinda forced it), and no freezes. The performance has been a little bit worse, but after some INI tweaking, modding, and misc. tweaks, I've gotten the game to run flawlessly on really high settings.

I must lucky then. I haven't encountered any serious bugs(only mapping mistakes) or crashes in 11 hours.

Barely kill any badguys? I assume you play hardest difficulty. If badguys are too hard to kill then use Psycho, Med-X and Buffout, these chems make you overpowered killing machine.

I think its great if some of you havent had problems. I do love the game myself but when the quests keep breaking and other issues for some of us others it makes it hard to have fun with it. Although one glitch was hilarious. I put myself in third person last night and my hands had stretched out to look like deathclaws. My wife and I were ROFL about it.

I killed plenty of bad guys and I am not playing on hard. Even on easier settings, deathclaws/rad scorpions/nightstalkers types are overly armored. I can pump 50 to 100 or more rounds into one of them and still only have it a 1/4 to 1/2 dead maybe.

I kinda agree, but Deathclaws are supposed to be super strong.

Is playing on 360 really that bad? On PS3 the game is as smooth as a slip'n slide.

I play the game on both PC and 360 and while I had audio glitches here and there on the PC version, the 360 one froze once.

Otherwise, I've had a smooth time playing on both systems, soooo.

Guess I'm one of the lucky ones.
