Hey guys,

so this afternoon I saw that Fallout New Vegas will be available through Steam today.
Since I'm a big fan of the series and wanted to have the game asap I preordered it and already preloaded everything.

So, now my problem is that when preload was finished it said "Available: 18th October - This game will be available in approx 3 hours.
Because I was so excited I took a look again and now steam says "Available: 22 October 2010 - This game will unlock in approx 3 days and 9 hours"

Is there any statement why it got changed? I read at several websites that the game will be available through steam today.

If you're in Europe then the release date is the 22nd, the first date was probably a mistake.

Until just an hour ago Steam was showing the wrong unlock times for EVERYONE. They just fixed it. Unfortunately since you are outside North or Central or South America, that means it pushed the release date out to the correct one of 22nd of October.

aww, that's sad
Just bought it on steam now because I wanted the game as early as possible, usually I take boxed editions
