Your load order looks perfect, so there is definitely a problem we need to address.

A) Are you running it with or without FOSE? If no FOSE, did your character have a power helm before entering the sim or are you smuggling simulated power armor out of the sim with Gary's corpse?
B) Did you happen to have a weapon encyclopedia before entering the sim?

By this thread's end, we'll figure it out and I'll add whatever fix is needed to the hotfix plugin(s). If neither of the above questions leads us to an answer, can you upload your save for me to check out that I can try to reproduce the crash? Thanks.

I had the gun guide thingy found on Moira's Desk, I'm running FOSE 1.2b, and I wasn't wearing any power armor.

Try ~1001EC2.RemoveItem 7018588 1, then exit the sim? Lemme know either way, but link your save if that doesn't help?

I got the same load order as the original poster but my game crashes when the photo is being taken of the soldiers.

In your savegame, had you already entered anchorage when you loaded FOOK2 beta 2?

Hmm... Upload your save to MediaFire or FileFront, then paste the URL here or PM me with it? From there, it shouldn't take me long to pin it down.

If you've got a save right before the photo scene, can you link me to it.

Right on! :) Somehow, your character has a nightvision switch even though you're using FOSE. Drop the switch and you should be able to get out of the simulator without issue as it's looking like that's the cause of the crash. I'll have to edit the code for it so it'll be automatically removed when FOSE is loaded. In just a bit, I'll link an experimental fix.

Ah ok, sweet, would you recommend I wait until the fix and start a save before Anchorage, or should I just try dropping the switch and keep going?

Odd... Try http://www.mediafire.com/?4yjj2ilcn0g? For me, dropping the switch got me through invariably with your save. Can you ~Show FOSE and let me know what's returned?

That explains how your character ended up with the NVG switch. FOSE isn't properly installed, evidently. If it were and you're running FOSE v1.2 beta 2, FOSE's value shoud be 1.23 which will determine how many scripts run. Try reinstalling FOSE and make sure everything is where it's supposed to be, then give it a whirl?

Right on! :) Glad to have been able to help you get to the bottom of it. Now that FOSE's running, you'll find a lot of things work differently and a grip of options will be available in the FOOK menu which weren't without it.

Suppose I could twist your arm to explain what was wrong in the OP?

Well, I still had to use the NVG Fix, that + FOSE fixed the problem, the only think though, how do I access the FOOK2 Options menu? I don't see the inventory item anymore.

That altered code will definitely make it's way in, then. Thanks for the heads up :) The FOOK menu, when FOSE is loading, is available by pressing and holding the 'O' key. '=' will take you directly to the testing stuff.
