Thanks :)
No prob. :) After taking a look, it seemed like one of those things that's far more easily done than said.

Oh hey, praised you all but forgot to tell you about the bug I saw.

does FOOK2 beta1.1 create any new races or over right any existing races.

all of my raiders were fine until I installed FOOK2 beta1.1 last night and then they all had the wrong textures. Its not hard for me to fix, but I didn't know FOOK2 beta1.1 replaced character textures.

The only RACE edits are adding a hairstyle it looks like. Not sure just what's up with that...

I'm working to update WMK-FOOK2 to be compatible with FOOK2 v1.1, but 1.1 is a significant update, so it will take a bit of time yet. One change in FOOK2 can (and usually does) mean up to sixteen required changes to update WMK-FOOK2, so... yeah. Takes time. ;)

Objectively, there's got to be something up with your install as that's just not something the Team or the vast majority of v1.1 beta users are experiencing. One poster in the FOOK forum even wrote...

...so there's got to be something(s) making the difference. Are you sure you dotted every 'i' and crossed every 't' when reinstalling? Load order? Patch version? With without FOSE? There's bound to be a solution.

Well i think i fixed it.I removed Lucy West Compaion and have played for 3 hours with no crashes,(Which svcks because she is the best compaion so far)Is there a way to reinstall her and have it work?

If this is using a savegame that had the FOOK-embedded Lucy West version, you could try loading the Lucy West standalone with the new FOOK and a brand-new-game from "birth" and see if the stability returns. I'm not aware of anything about the standalone Lucy West which would break FOOK2 or the followers in FOOK. That's not saying that there positively is nothing, just that if there is, I'm not aware of it.

BTW if you've not used the overhauled versions of followers that live in FOOK2's beta, you might give them a try. There are some issues (being fixed soon) with those followers acquiring extra ammo in their inventories, but enough is working properly that you should get the picture.

To the makers of this wonderful mod:

You may want to check this out : http://www.fallout3n...le.php?id=11982

This adds realistic pipboy icons for all food, drink, med, miscellaneous items and some unique weaps and armor.

Just pointing it out in case you feel inspired to include it in your own mods - both for the vanilla FW items but also your own creations / additions...

Cheers, Bendiwolf

Those are some very nice icons.
Might want to fix the broken link though.

Icons: Those would make for a fantastic addition. I'll see if the author is down for their inclusion with FOOK.

Hey everyone. I know this question is somewhat unrelated but I'll still put it here. I've sank about 50 hours into FO3 without gettin further than Jefferson Memorial. I can't remember how many times have I started over. I always promise myself that this buggy hell isn't worth the effort. But then I see the magic you modders do and I'm compulsed to download and play it. But the crashes, they're killing me. At first I got like gazillion mods, made a CP and tried to play, but meh. So I removed mods one by one and in the end decided to install just one overhaul and that's it. First tried FWE, but then I realized I'd love to have both FWE and FOOK. Discarded that possibility. Now that FOOK2 1.1 has been released, I decided AGAIN to only install FOOK2 and try to actually finish the game, for crying out loud :swear: So I installed the mod and all was coming along nicely. I remembered something's missing! Ah yes, Darnified UI and Auto-Aim Fix Deluxe and CASM. Since then, crashes. Random, on different occasions. INI edits made no difference as far as I can tell. I'm on W7 x64. Might that be the cause? On what configurations do you, who have next to nothing number of crashes, play this game?

Also, my games is patched to 1.7. Do any of you play on older patches?

Sorry for the rant

Just on a hunch, try disabling CASM... Then report back.

Well i took your advice and removed fallout and fook, did a complete reinstall started from birth installed the standalone Lucy and have not had 1 lock up or crash. The game seems to run beautifull and looks awsome.I am running it with out FOSE,Not sure if that makes a differnet or not. I know what FOSE is but was wondering if you still get some of the cool effects(Like with the Plasma Rifel) and such.

Did that, tried to load, crashed as soon as I got into game. Disabled Darnified UI and... it loaded. Is that even possible? Without CASM it's half-bad, but without Darn's UI... oh gawd.

EDIT: Moving it to the end solved the most terrible crashes. I can play for about 2 hours before crash. It isn't gonna get any better I suppose?

EDIT2: I don't get it. I can play for an hour and then for example 4 crashes in a row at the very same place. :(

I don't use FOSE and in my FOOK test games, I do see like, funky bubble effects, when I get crits with the plasma rifle. I've never seen the FOSE version so I do not know if it is different.

I have one report on the FOOK boards of a follower (Malcolm in this case) accumulating a large quantity of extra 32Cal rounds and shotgun shells.

Has anyone else seen ammo mulitiplication like this on any human/ghoul follower(s)?

If you have, or have not, I'd like to hear back either way, plz.

I have seen it on Clover, with 10mm and .32. Not astonomical. I gave her 1000 rounds of 10mm, and when I checked later she had 5000 plus.

All FOOK2 esps have to load before MMM.

Also MMM Mods should be placed near the end of the load order.

If you ask on Arwens Thread She will send you to Her site which will help with your load Order.

Good Luck.

James.

I found some icky mistakes in the follower weapon handling of several midrange and long weapons. In geekspeak, it was some confusion between how temp variables were being used vs. main controller variables. It was causing problems with machine gun handling, among other things.

Like half a week from now, I think there is going to be a FOOK beta2 release with a new .esm, and it will have corrections for that, among other things.

Congrats!

I do have to question your version numbering, though. 2.1.1 I can get behind. 2.1 I can get behind. v2 v1.1? Not really, it makes little to no sense :P

Maybe I should mention that using the console to complete Future Imperfect still doesn't allow me to open the options menu. Is there another work around?
