Sorry for dumb question but are weapons still ridiculously overpowered in FOOK 2? I really, really don't like 3 second battles.


The questions is already answered above where they talk about balancing the weapons. Whether your choose to believe that or not is up to you.

Yeah, this is wonderful. Although it's randomly going from 50 to 100 KB to download. :(

Anyhow, I look forward. My first question is. Effectiveness of Repair skill reduced

This is probably a dumb question but since 2.0 is totally done from scracth...

Are the separate gloves included ? Or should I keep using the Waste Wear Gloves mod ?

Is EVE really already included? Last thing I heard was that is WILL be included in the final relz but isn't yet part of the FOOK2 Beta, but that a compatibility patch will be put out for the time being. Also, I know you said the point of the beta is to run it "alone" but is there going to be a MMM patch for the Beta, and if so, any idea for an ETA?

EDIT: Nevermind, after installing I saw the EVE was an optional component to install. Still need the answer about MMM though! I would love to test out FOOK2, but I still need my MMM to even stomach playing the game!

A "bug" I have noted so far...the EVE addon uses FOOK.esm as a master instead of FOOK2 - Main.esm, which completely glitches my FO3MasterUpdate process with the EVE addon active. I'm not sure if this will also CTD the game upon loading or cause the EVE module to simply not work as well.

they were never ridiculously overpowered, maybe around 50% more damage in average compared to vanilla.

Having said this the balance should be better in FOOK2 and its a bit closer to vanilla while weapons still hurt more.

Yah I was quite too harsh on my words. I just like to do Melee and that is very unsuccessful agains the Enclave.

well I do understand your point but one has also to ask if melee weapons should be a thread to power armored soldiers.

Though I should netioned that melee weapons were pretty much doubled in damage (compared to vanilla) so they do hurt a lot and due to the fact that ammo is expensive in FOOK is the use of melee weapons very cost efefctive.

However are we (or better said I am cause I do the balance stuff) still interested in all feedback and ill definitly consider it.

Every time I attempt to open Fallout the game crashes with the beta installed. No other mods, and I'm following the load order. Would it matter if my copy of the game was D2D?
