Pretty sure he is doing that, and using our ideas.

I get paid $1 per 1000 views on average. And the higher traffic the better the pay. So once you break into the 5 digit figures in traffic you start making $50 to $100 dollars a video in the first 3 days. I get a check twice a year from google. But it took me two years to get to that point.

Something to keep in mind if you go the Ebay route.

Ebay charge a 10% fee on all sales and have recently added a 10% fee to the postage price as well (thanks to the large amount of sellers bumping up postage prices to avoid fees).

Unless you choose free postage you are paying double fees. Then you may also be paying a 4% Paypal fee (PP is owned by Ebay). Whether it's worth the time, effort, and fees depends a lot on what your selling.

A friend of mine lived off E-Bay sales for years, doing what Softnerd suggested, also he would take requests for items, that people wanted, especially did well selling books.

Steal national treasures and flog them online, i hear the HMS Victory is worth £5Billion, why not start with that?

On a more serious note, i used a website called Inboxpounds for a little while, the pay per survey is pretty decent, i think the US equivalent is inboxdollars or something.

Gee wizz thanks for the advice *rides off into the sunset living happily ever after thanks to the advice from The Tallest* :bonk:

It's not that easy to just get a job at such short notice and most places where I live aren't looking for people, to put it into perspective the most popular supermarket (asda) where I live has a 2 year waiting list for it's entry level jobs...

Gee wiz, I'm sorry I didn't sugar coat my response. I never said getting a job was easy. But instead of looking for quick and easy ways to make money why don't you go out and apply for some jobs.

And unless you live in a one horse town I find it difficult to believe a super market has a 2 year waiting period to get a job stocking shelves.

Either way, good luck finding ways to make money.

2 year waiting list for a supermarket job? That's insane. I'd say look for a job as a laborer at a construction site but illegal immigrants take all of those jobs.

You're not a girl so selling your body is out....hmm can't think of any quick cash for you :P

Invest in a packet of salted crackers.

Go around to people and bet them $5.00 that they can't eat and swallow 5 in 60 seconds with no water.

do this 20 times and there's your hundred bucks.

Amazon Turk is very decent if you have the patience, then you'll learn which hits to do and what not. I pay all my bills doing it, now that I started working as a independent contractor I do Turk less.

Again you need a lot of patience for it.

Not only was your reply off-topic it was the hint of unnecessary contempt in your post that annoyed me and why the hell shouldn't you "sugar coat" your response?

Isn't it nice to be nice or is manners and general etiquette a rarity for some on here? Then we get to the ignorant assumptions, you don't ask if I have or am able to work you just assume that I chose not to apply for jobs.

For the record I've been applying for the best part of a year sending out over 40 C.V's a week and having probably 10 interviews but I have next to no work experience and there's a minimum of 300 people applying for a job.I live in a part of Scotland with some of the highest unemployment figures in the uk and I had a job not long but It was for cold calling and selling which I'm not good at

Honestly coupled with your brash approach, insensitive assumptions and contempt I don't think an apology is too far off the mark...

I believe in you. After all, You said it best, Eden. "Laziness breeds stupidity"

And with a job like that...you can't be lazy

Also, That 2 year wait for a supermarket job is crazy.

Really, it was off-topic? Wow, the OP is asking for quick and easy ways to make money. Unfortunately, if there were such a thing none of us would be slaving away for an ungrateful boss. Trust me, I've been there; the looking for quick ways to turn a dime and it doesn't exist. Why should I sugar coat it? Life svcks, and the real world, the one us working slobs live in don't get things sugar coated so why should the OP? If it hurts your feelings or anyone else's too bad but it's reality. Oddly enough, I did have a smiley after my OP, and if you couldn't tell but the "Slobs" part was meant in jest. Apparently my smiley didn't stick around. Oh well. Asking for an apology isn't going to win you one.

I'm not too sure on what jobs you are applying for but if you don't have experience you aren't going to get hired. Sounds to me like your applying for jobs way beyond you skill set and your pay grade. Perhaps it's time you start looking at trades. That's where I started, I was an electrical apprentice for several years, moved onto doing light auto-mechanic work. Then drove a parts truck. I have no college education. Not sure if you do. Not having one has definitely hurt me in my quest for the perfect career. I did cold calling and sales myself; completely svcks and I was not good at it either. Mainly because if I'm annoyed it shows. I haven't sugar coated anything ever and I'm not about to start now. Heck, I do sales now to an extend. I can and have sold stuff in my current position but I don't like doing it and if I can avoid it altogether I will. At any rate, trades aren't terrible; I'm in a trade field now. Been doing this job for 14 years. It's not bad, I like it. Unfortunately the company I work for svcks nuts. Can you move to an area with a better job market? It sounds very much like you need to leave the area. What is it you are looking to do?

I actually had to look up what that was. It seems like it could be good to make some extra cash on top of your regular job. I can't see it being a full time thing.

ha I was joking, don't end up like Dicrapio in Basketball Diaries

Maybe because you can earn more money with a cup and a sign? It pays you in pennies and I've heard that you have to include it as an income on your taxes so they will tax your pennies

I mean...you don't HAVE to be a girl to sell your body. You just have to find the right clientele.
