Yeyah! Go New Zealand!

Frickin' unbelievable. What a game! Fully worth getting up at 2am to watch.

After the bunch of quite poor and very questionable calls so far, I think the world cup should have instant replays like hockey, AKA only when an independent FIFA extra ref watching the game isn't certain of the situation.

That refused goal against the USA so reminds me so much of http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ASgzqfiEnDs

If the USA dont qualify (like the Nordiques lost that series) I'll feel for them. :brokencomputer:

Oh dear 7-0 spanking for the North Koreans. Even Ronaldo managed to score.

Will they be able to go home? They were showing this game live in the PRC. Perhaps they told the people our team are wearing red.

Well done Portugal. Poor North Korea, hope Kim doesn't kill them. Gutted that that tosser Ronaldo scored. Entertaining match just for the goals, all in all no competition for Portugal in this match.

That was a bit unfair on Korea really. They weren't worth a 7-0 defeat.

Ouch, that was quite a massacre. But I cant realy blame North Korea, after going all in against Brazil they had to be tired (and maybe even over-confident) and Portugal decided to prove a point after studying the tapes of the previous game and figuring out their system.

But concidering how lowly ranked NK is, they should still be proud of themselves for just reaching the World Cup and almost beating Brazil, and I'm sure they'll come back better prepared (and hopefully not in the group of death) in the next world cup.

Oh for gods sake. Stupid Chilean player over reacting again causing a Swiss player to be sent off. Man up!

I was thinking the same. The one match so far with tons of goals and I miss it.

and silly referee is officially insane.

I mean, seriously. What's the man doing?
And why is everyone diving/over reacting? They should be booked, but aren't. As opposed to everyone who happens to stand close to the referee, or to actually play football.

What the heck! There were 2 offside Chillian players on that goal!!!

How could no ref see it?

Brilliant second half by Portugal! At the end of the first half it still looked like it could go either way, so bravo to NK. Highly entertaining match, hope we get to see more like it!

Torres and Villa are both starting tonight, so Spain should be better offensively tonight. Honduras were unimpressive against Chile as well, so I predict a 3-0 win for Spain.

Perhaps we'll be treated to another 7-0. That would wash away a big part of the bad taste this WC has left in my mouth so far.

Nice goal from Villa. Took it past a couple of players and knocked it in the top corner. Another few like that would be nice.

Very nice goal indeed. I can't stand the sensationalist commentary from ITV though, that Drury guy does my nut in. :shakehead:

I hate Xavi as well.

I hate everyone, I got a parking fine today. :banghead:

Why? He's an excellent playmaker that is great to watch.

[EDIT]: Ramos has been like a second striker tonight despite playing at right back. :P

I don't like him as a person, he's a bit of a tossbag, good player though.

Did he kick your dog or steal your girlfriend or something? Can't say I really know much about his personality, nor do I care. I just want him to entertain me by playing good football, and he fulfils that job well.

Nah, not for me, if a guy's an arsehole then I have a hard time appreciating him in any capacity.

Spain win it 2-0, although they definitely should have had more. How Villa missed the penalty I'll never know.

Pretty poor finishing by Spain, should have scored atleast 3 more.
