For PC and Ps3 Players

Post » Thu Jan 06, 2011 4:14 pm

Hey everyone with the Demo launching tuesday for the xbox I know there are alot of PC players and PS3 players that will not be able to play it. While you might not be able to play I plan on streaming live gameplay all week once the demo is launched.

During this time I will answer any questions you might have about the game as I play and let you the views pick what you want to see and what you want me to try out.

We also are going to be looking at the demo and seeing how well it can be used for Competitive play on our new website launching GLO (Game Ladders Online) Our goal is to be able to host tournaments and ladders for Xbox, Ps3, and PC once the game launches. Feel free to check out our site and register letting us know what you would like to see for the game when it launches. So sign up to the site at

http://www.gameladdersonline.com

For the Live stream make sure to stop by our channel tuesday at

Justin.tv/gameladdersonline

I look forward to seeing everyone there.

Its not a problem at all. The quality of the stream we run is decent its not high def more like standard but the stream does not lag at all and is very watchable. Plus this gives other people a chance to see the game who dont own a xbox a chance to watch.

The player that will be playing in the stream is a former Call of Duty 4 pro player. So it should be interesting.

We plan on offering ladders for PC as well. Right now our site is still being coded but should be up in the next few weeks. Before the game launch for sure. Our forums are currently being coded. But if you want a preview you can switch the style. Its still broken somewhat but it gives a idea of what the site is going to look like.

Well I know what it is like waiting around for a game and I can understand the burn that the PS3 and PC players feel right now.

I also have faith that Crysis will breath a new breath into FPS's on the consoles. I think it has a chance to be a big tournament game.

I will be playing it too, great idea tho!

Hopefully Crytek sees how much hits you will get with this and really thinks next time. Or should I say Crytek thinks twice about EA doing exclusive demo moves.

Thanks for all the positive feedback guys. Game Ladders Online is really about the fans we want to give you guys what you want. We seen that there were people that were upset about not getting the demo and we are doing what we can to help out how we can. A stream is not much of a help and some still feel a little shorted but its better then nothing.

I sent a Email to Adam on the forums Im going to try to get in contact with someone from the Crysis team to see if we can get a code early to start streaming the gameplay, and maybe get a interview about the competitive side of the game. I don't really think much will come from it because our site is not really launched yet but we are trying.

For those that sign up it to the forums it really makes us feel good like I said we are new but we are trying to bring products, tournaments, ladders and other things that gamers in esports want. At Glo we are just gamers like you trying to start a new community you guys checking out the stream and liking what we do and enjoying it is what we want.

So once again thanks for the positive feedback we will keep doing everything we can for you the gamers.

Thanks again for doing this. It is only second rate to actually being able to play it myself, but it is great nonetheless. :)

Hopefully the stream isn't from a noob, because I can't stand watching videos where the player just constantly dies. ^-^ Call of Duty 4 and Crysis are vastly different games.

I will be the one playing. I am pretty quick at picking up most games, I am also pretty good with the controller. I been playing a lot of Section 8 Predjuice beta lately as well as some other shooters. First few games might be a little ruff out but after that I am pretty sure I will be top of the leader boards I always am most of the time. I also do not camp so you do not have to worry about that I run and gun, so All I have to do is figure out what to run with.
