Only the models and the textures are better in original Crysis. The other stuff are much more better in Crysis 2. This difference is because Cryengine 3 is multiplatform. Actually about 90% of players play C2 on PC, but that 10% is more than 20000.

Crysis 2 uses extreme bloom and glow effects and lens flares to make up for it... or tries to.
