While LR was one of the best DLC's released for Fallout there were a few details I really didn't understand. How the hell do you survive being that close to a nuclear blast and why isn't the surrounding area irradiated or completely destoryed?

I guess this explains how there were whole cities in the Fallout games, the nukes impotent. Well at least it will help shut up the people who rag on Fallout 3 for being an unrealistic post apocalyptic game with places to explore instead of being a crater.

Still, it's odd for a society that coveted nuclear power and technolgy to make some piss weak bombs.
