Layne would simply stand by and let whatever happened happen. It was clear at this point, at least to him, that Daniel had become rather soft. Casdin himself wanted to put Lyons in front of a firing squad, and he'd personally told Layne that several times because he deemed Lyons a traitor. Ridgemont, however, had more outwardly committed an act of treason so deep that he deserved a slow and painful death.

"Sir, this is pathetic. He should die for what he did."

OOC: The fact that you not let me die is horrifying, you are pathetic Dan, the way a man dies is probally a true saying in real life. You emulate McGraw and I loathe that fact. Letting me rot in a cell is not my way of serving a noble cause. We are not noble warriors, we are brotherhood, forged in fire, forgotten by the same fools you now emulate. Elder Lyons has destroyed your way and your path is most certainly strayed.

Daniel quickly took a swing at the man, with a blunt shot to the head, knocking him out, "Traitor." We have a war to win soldiers, and i don't want you thoughts clouded by this moron, "Someone take him away, I'm done, my squad get on the vertibird, we are leaving."

Jesus Christ this whole thing has just gotten really confusing and bad all of a sudden. Enclave Radio, you need to follow the rules, cause you've disregarded most of the most basic rules of rping several times already, and now you're just being childish. Unbelievable. And sorry to contribute to the OOC.

What the [censored], alright guys, I will continue the RP tomorrow, that was just, WOW, don't worry guys I will make it all better. We need a little break so we can forget what just happened.

They arrived at the drop off zone, the Capitol building, "Alright men," Daniel noticed everyone raising their weapons, "Don't worry men, this area has been cleared before our arrival. On account of the carpet bombing runs that were ordered an hour before." Daniel unslung his laser rifle, "Move up, report any movement," It was dark, and Daniel knew where the brotherhood soldiers were, in the trenches and covering the momument, and Daniel knew the objective, clear out any remaining brotherhood soldiers and capture the Washington Monument. "Move quietly, and stay in the trenches."

"Yes, Sir!" Jonathan couldn't wait to capture the Washington monument. He wanted to see how good of a sniping position was the top. "Ahhh the monument, a snipers dream nothing but the breeze, me, my weapon and any poor soldier crossing my sights." Jonathan then proceeded to turn on the night vision in his helmet "Thats better I almost couldn't see where I was going." "Hey Dan what kind of resistance do you think is going to be in the monument, negligible or heavy." Jonathan hoped it was negligible yet at the same time heavy since it had been a while before he had any kind of challenge.

Brownings looked around the trench whilst keeping close to the wall, "I think it's best we clear the trenches first," Brownings said to Jonathan, "Who knows, they may have bunkers dug in here, pop out at any moment." Brownings moved carefully to a intersection and looked down both sides of the trenches, it seemed clear at this moment, the one to the right had collasped so making going that way impossible.

"Ever since the the battle at Fort Independence the Brotherhood has strenghtned its holds and reinforced their troops at outposts all through DC in preparation for a counter-attack, they guesed right, and here we come."

Daniel checked his corners, out in front of the squad, he noticed the sun was rising, "C'mon lets find them and finish off here." The orange glow started showing on the horizon.

Daniel walked around a corner only to be staring face to face with a Brotherhood Paladin, "[censored]! Get back, Start shooting!" Daniel dived back around the corner and started blind firing his rifle into the next part of the trenches, he could here foot steps coming around the bend, "Fall back over there!" Daniel pointed to a larger are where sandbags provided cover, "Supressive fire, get moving!"

Jonathan doubled back to where Daniel told him to go. "Damn, I can't snipe here its too close! [censored] it ill try to anyway." He then whipped his rifle and fired a few shots at the paladins head. They all hit but didnt bring him down "He has extra plating on his armor its gonna take a while too pierce!" Jonathan fired a few more shots to his head ripping through the armor a bit more. He ducked behind the sandbags. "He got a gattling laser!" Laser shot whipped overhead, the sandbags weren't going to last. "Ahhhhhhhhhhh!" Jonathan dumped the rest of his rounds into the paladins head just enough to finally pierce through killing the paladin instantly. Jonathan looked through his scope. "More BoS heading this way, get down!" a barrage of lasers passed over the sandbags.

Brownings folloed suit, firing at the enemy, their weaponry's laser flashing around them, again Brownings thanked his armour which was taken all the shot fired at him. Once getting to the sandbag Brownings vaulted over them and ducked behind them, bring his head up and firing to cover any who haven't made it, for his effort he was greeted by a round which punched through his shoulderpad, putting his finger through the hole, "That was lucky," he muttered to himself, "Best hurry up, sniper!"

OOC: Okay, so once again I have no idea what's going on. Everything where I am is way too chaotic right now for me to bother trying to make sense of everything. I'll just put this post up and hope it matches.

Chase leaped over one of the sandbag barricades and, using them as cover, took a few shots at the advancing Brotherhood. He watched with satisfaction as one soldier went down after taking five shots to the chest. Chase hadn't expected their armor to be in such good condition, but he couldn't dwell on that now. Bullets impacted on his cover and flew over his head, so Chase ducked down and fired a few blind shots over the barricade, aware that he probably wasn't hitting anything. A grenade landed by his feet, and he picked it up and threw it back just as another hit the ground behind him and exploded. He was forced forwards into the sandbags from the force of the explosion, but he hadn't suffered any significant damage.

"[censored] grenades! I knew this was going to happen!"

Jonathan wished he had brought some kind of explosives. "Does someone have any explosives! Theres too many and this barrier wont hold for long!" Jonathan stood up and shot more lasers at the crowd of BoS soldiers. plasma flew towards him, too fast to duck and most of them connected to his chest burning through his plates. "Arghhhh," Jonathan fell over, his chest was burning due to the super heated plasma. "Where did those [censored]ers get plasma rifles!"

"Who cares!" Brownings shouted, "They have 'em and we don't, thats enough for me." Brownings looked over the sand bags and fired his laser rifle and managed to kill a brotherhood member. "You still fit to carry on or do we need to call up the medic?" Brownings asked, the tone in his voice not changing at all, he seemed to be emtionless, just doing his best to stay alive.

"No, I'm okay." Jonathan stood up and fired a few more shot killing another brotherhood member. "Just two left." His chest was still burning and he didn't think this would warrant using a stimpak so he tried to ignore it.

"Anyone here by chance know how to repair power armor and before you ask we'll just take some plates from the dead BoS."

"Well you best ask them," Browings said pointing the the Brotherhood members, Browings fired the rest of the cell at the brotherhood not being able to fall one this time. browings put in a new cell and stayed behind cover with a large round going into the sand bag, "[censored] sniper is still there."

Jonathan stood up quickly, he didn't have much time. He lined up his scope to the sniper. "Bam! Bam! Click." the lasers hit the sniper in the head and he fell off the building he was on. He quickly reloaded and let loose killing the remaining brotherhood in the trenches. "That takes care of them." He stood up and took some micro fusion cells off the BoS. "Hey who wants these plasma weapons!"

OOC: Sorry I had computer problems, Lets just say i was one of the first people to get shot in the first battle, missed my heart by a few centimeters.

IC: Enrique just recovered from his severe bullet wound. He woke up and the light blinded him, he put his right arm in front of him. Casdin reached out for Enrique's arm, and looked straight into his eyes. "Good morning rookie, hope you recovered enough for a next mission," said Casdin.

Enrique lowered his arm, he thought about it for a second. "I'm ready for anything sir."

Casdin looked at him, smiled and said," O.k lets send you to the mall, your squad has been waiting for you."

OOC: Just pretend you were with us the whole time ok?

IC: As the number of Brotherhood soldiers in front of them diminished Daniel gave the order to advance, and after a couple minor battles the reached the end of the trenches.

"Alright, hold." Daniel looked over the wall, "Ok there are about 30 men guarding the monument, they seem unalert, lets change that, alright whever has a sniper i want to get the first shot in, the we provid covering fire as Defender Black and Protector Comara will sneak round the right and flank, all clear?"

But then all of a sudden an alien space ship crashed into the monument!

OOC: Dan I think I got the reference. Enclaves RP? If it is I laughed as soon as I saw it

"Here take mine." Jonathan passed his sniper rifle to Daniel. "Just don't lose it." He picked up one of the plasma rifles the BoS was using. "Hey Chase you ready for this." Jonathan grinned. "Okay lets get this over with."

OOC: Damn, I've had a hard time recently. Sorry for my recent absence, lack of attention, and short posts. I need to get back into things.

"Ready as I'll ever be. I just don't want to see another damn grenade. And I see you found a new toy?" Chase said, eying Jonathan's new weapon. He walked to the corpse of a nearby Brotherhood soldier and took the plasma rifle off of him. He wasn't much for looting the dead, but this was too great an opportunity to pass up.

"And it looks like I found a new toy too. Now lets kill these guys and get the hell out of here. The Mall brings back bad memories, and I'd rather not run into any of them."
