For the imminent ES:V ost...

... gamesas please PLEASE make this available - worldwide - as a proper cd album set. 320kbps mp3s *in addition* is fine, but CERTAINLY NO (shudder) Windows Media files a la Morrowind ost. That plain svcks. Just watched the gameplay footage and that rework of the Morrowind theme is just to die for, as I'm sure all the other songs will be too. Music that brilliant, really, deserves an audiophile grade release, as I'm sure many others here would agree.

If there is going to be a sound track release I would want lossless not mp3. 90% of my music is in FLAC codec and I collect a lot of sound track music from games. So no thanks to mp3!

Just any OST packed with the Collector's Edition... Don't really care/understand the quality or whatever

Yeah, I totally support the OP. I pretty much bought the Collector's Edition of Morrowind just so I could have an official physical release of the album.

I understand they're trying to make it wide spread with MP3 downloading, but the files are only marginally better than what is included for free ingame. I would rather the incentive of buying the soundtrack out of the game and receiving official artwork, track listing, and composer's notes.

I wish they'd use real instruments too? :P

ETA: Besides, lots of other companies and games enjoy entire sets and releases of their OSTs. Seeing as the Elder Scrolls series has enormous popularity with its score, I think they'd actually make a little on this.
