The BoS probably doesn't even acknowledge them. As long as the Legion doesn't start anything with the BoS or pose a threat in any way.

With all this BOS vs CL arguing, I will be laughing hard if they had some sort of deal going on in New Vegas.

Since some Legion members have armor that has power armor pieces attached to them I think that they already have a history with the BOS, and it ain't pretty.

Problem with this is that spartans trained with a shield like mad, they would not get close, as they have massive bronze shields that work both as defense and offense....and the phalanx...dont forget that...

@ig88, they probably will, steel my use the legion to gether tech or take advantage of their large numbers to remove the beast of NCR from Vegas so they can make up for their mistakes. if not, i'll kill everyone in Vegas anyway.

it may have been time difference, but spartans definitely fought naked as some point, maybe with a bit of armor. now this discussion isnt exactly nessecary to this thing about Caesar's Legion...

Spartans didnt fight naked they had a cape, a briast plate, a helmet and a brown cloth for there underwear nothing more nothing less.

Spartans had to wear some clothes. Even back then they were bright enough to know to protect certain parts when swords are flinging about.

On Topic, will i hope there a random encounters with them enslaving people.

I wonder if they use non-lethal weapons(being slavers and all) and what exactly would happen if they shot/hit the player with them? Will it kill you if it makes your HP go to 0 or would it do something else entirely?

Yeah, like they're enslaving villages and settlements.

Maybe there's something in the plot that you stumble upon them enslaving a setttlement that you've previously done work for, so you know the NPC's. You can either help the town or the slavers, depending on what reputation you already have (otherwise, slavers attack). But at least they had enough time to kill/drag away some NPC's that made resistance and burn a few buildings down before you beat them and they took off. So... yet again you can help the town by going after them and rescue them from the slave pens.

Yeah, I hope that they use like cattle rods and blunt weapons when they are do gather slaves and that it doesn't directly kill NPC's, unless they beat/zap them senseless on the ground.

Maybe they could use stun prods and dart guns with tranqualizers.
After you get caught you will be taken to one of their camps as a slave, and take all your stuff, when you wake up you'll have to fight your way out and reclaim your equipment.

or thrown to the centaurs for their amusemant and the right to earn your equipment back and place in the legion. nothing scares a man worse than fighting 10 men sewn together.

@savagebeatings, it would be nice to see towns change control several times, like a town is normal, then you can persuade raiders to take the town, the town gets adorned with corpses and blood and such, then you can persuade the Legion that these raiders are vulnerable, they go in and slughter them, and for a day, you see crucified corpses everywhere and legion guys beating the crap outta prisoners. then after tha day it goes to being more organised and such. and then you can persuade the raiders to try again, after the legion gets cut down you see the raiders celebrating by dancing around in their clothing, drinking, partying and such..and this thing repeats over and over.

yeah it would be, so would be stealing a nearby guards weapon to give yourself a better chance, and if you have a high enough speech or strength you can persuade the leader of the legion that you are worthy because you thought of doing that and because punching a centaur is beneath you.

Real men don't need T-51b. A couple high power rounds can destroy that like anything else. I don't need it or use it.

Although often painted as "bad men" and the "evil" side, i bet there are at least SOME likable, or at least very memorable members. "Welcome to camp Nelson... WHY ARE YOU OUT OF UNIFORM SOLDIER?!?! HOW DARE YOU CALL YOURSELF A LEGIONARE! NOW GO AND DON'T COME BACK UNTIL YOU ARE IN UNIFORM!!

Me being a mile away with .308 or .50 rounds.. If and when you find where I'm shooting from, I mined the area ahead of time, so it's easy pickins. That's my playstyle.
