all of you probably play on novice difficulty and plow through the game, so you most likely have no appreciation of the challenge the game has to offer. putting such a difficulty slider in game that could drastically increase challenge or remove all challenge completely is rediculous. let me put it this way,
"This guy has killed me twice already, what should i do? go do some quests and level up a few more times, or simply put it on novice? HMMMMMM"
why do you think all games dont have an in game difficulty slider? is it because the developers assume that everyone will have the self control not to use it?
no its not that you need self control, its that you need patience. you guys are defending the game because you are little fangirls of the elder scrolls series. seriously, this is a real problem, and id atleast like to have the OPTION to disable these 2 features before i start the game.
If you had any self-control, you'd go and level up to come back. Just because you lack the ability to do that, doesn't mean we all play on Novice. To say such a thing betrays your ignorance.
I play on Adept. I've died countless times. You know what I do in response? I run like a sissy girl to level up, come back, and blow their doors down. Or I blow through my potions to power through the challenge. I play on the XBOX, so I can't use the console commands. But I actually have some self-control, so I could stop myself from doing so if I did.
Stop taking out your lack of self-control on Bethesda, and dissing people that point out the flaws in your argument. That's a valid tactic for you to use when you're in grade-school, but it doesn't work on the internet.
Also, I am a really devoted fan of TES. That doesn't make my argument useless. So what if I like a game? I know lack of self-control, lack of skill, lack of respect, or lack of understanding when I see it. And I can tell you, you lack several of those.
