During the quest where you have to defend the president on Hoover dam, I was able to finish it successfully. I was supposed to do the mission for Mr. House however, I killed him shortly after. So I go back to the NCR at Hoover dam and I receive the quest "For the Republic Part 2". I am told to defend the president which means that I need to do a quest I've already completed. I've tried to use console commands such as "getquestcompleted" or "resetquest" but I don't know the baseid for the quest. Can anyone help me with this?

Basically,
1. Defend President for Mr. House
2. Kill Mr. House for NCR
3. NCR sends me to speak to the ranger at Hoover dam. I am unable to speak to him. Pressing talk does nothing. (I already did the quest... I need to do it again)
4. I need to reset the quest but I don't know how to

I definitely don't want to restart the game. I don't have any recent saves.
