So I'm sure some folks who've ordered the Imperial Edition are looking for someone to use their Ring of Mara with early-on. But of course, while it doesn't necessarily have to mean marriage between players, and could simply be used for the EXP buff, many of us roleplayers would prefer to use it on an in-game spouse. So this thread is for the people who want to find someone for an early edge in the game with their Ring of Mara, whether it be as RP spouse or merely for the extra EXP.

As I said, for some roleplayers it just doesn't feel right wasting Rings of Mara (IE: wedding rings) on early-game leveling with someone who is totally apathetic to the whole situation. Honestly I wanted to just wait to see how things developed with my character naturally, but I don't want to have to exhaust every quest there is to get a head start in the game.

I was kind of hoping for a more romantic proposal, but...

Well, i will have a ring of Mara, however i didn't get the IE edition for it. I got the IE edition because i got a discount and it was the same price as the normal edition

I have no desire to "get a head start" in game, im going to be taking it very slow

You could stiil just wait on using them and just group with some people from the start for the extra group xp. That way you can take your time in finding a suitable partner. It would be a shame if the rings got wasted on someone that stops playing after the first free month. Do what i plan to do, once you're out of Cold harbour, send out a message through zone chat stating that you're looking for a party to quest/level with. I'm saving my rings for someone that's worth the effort and when i know that said person doesn't leave after a short while.

Anyway, good luck with finding someone, look me up if you're interested in creating a group to level with.

I'd just like to get past the initial influx of players that are certain with release, without having to exhaust all the exploration the game has to offer just to do it. During the beta I had some trouble in the 5-10 range. From an RP perspective it would provide my scholarly little Dunmer some motivation to get out of the house. Eventually I plan to have her reject Azura, just for fun. She hates it when her toys don't play the way she wants them to.

Group EXP? I seem to have missed something important. I'm not Hermaeus Mora after all. Is it something that overrides Ring EXP?

Perhaps i should've worded it differently, travelling in groups let's you kills things faster. Say you move from dark anchor to dark anchor. Faster kills equals more xp. Sorry for confusing you.

edit: I found that when i travelled in Cyrodiil with a group i gained xp faster and found more loot, but that could just be me? *shrugs*
