For those of you disapointed with Skyrim...

Post » Tue Dec 06, 2011 8:36 am

I'm just wondering... Because seriously, what wouldn't make you happy if Skyrim couldn't? Is it perfect? No, but it is absolutely spectacular. It is a huge advancement over Oblivion and fixes a lot of things that the ES needed fixed. How could you not be happy unless you came from Call of Duty and expected this to be "Skyrim 3: Nordic Warfare Xtreme Edition"?

It's not difficult to create a game that surpasses Oblivifail.

Skyrim is better looked at as a whole. Not just little bits of clipping and occassionally bad voice acting. Oblivion is a much worse game in comparison and I loved that game.

TES has been only going down after daggerfall, but at least this one is better than morro[censored].

the 'complainers' have good intentions, they want the game to be better for everyone. no game is perfect, after all, not even skyrim, it's clear the devs made some questionable choices eg. with the UI.

Overall it's an amazing game, but I do find some things disappointing.

You dare defile a game crafted by the gods such as that known as Morrowind?! :flame: /sarcasm You are one of the first I've seen on this board to hate on Morrowind. Good job!

Are you seriously comparing a flawed game to the mythical nonsense of a particular religion?

I am about as disappointed in the "resurrection" of jesus as I am about the exploits of Hercules.

For those of you disappointed with Skyrim... Did the Resurrection of Christ also disappoint you?

They share similar difficulties (eg. some people struggle to accept it's fiction).

I like Morrowind, Oblivion, and Skyrim, never got to play Arena or Daggerfall. Guess I'm not a hater and I don't nitpic everything in a video game. Those people complaining should try building a game this size without having problems/bugs AND having it work perfect on consoles and PC. Those on the PC should especially be grateful because they can get mods, us gamers on the consoles gotta deal.

I dont really hate that game, I hate the people who love it. They are all elitist bastards who thinks every other game is worse than their beloved morrowind and are too blind to see anything bad in it. But even without them, its not my favorite TES game.

there is some things im dissapointed with skyrim over, lack of wild werewolves (lore accuracy demands there be at least a crap load of wild werewolves), short quest lines, and lack of armour slots and the promised many NPCs that would come from lack of armour slots to name a few

you are an idiot if you think there is nothing at all to complain over, nothing is perfect so it should be complaind about to help TES: VI blackmarsh

P.S. please lave christianity out of this, there are people in this world who dont believe the truth

It seems as though RPG geeks act like the most entitled gamers out there..this is not just YOUR fantasy game, they have to cater to millions of you people, svck it up the game is awesome and THEE best bang for your buck compared to anything out there that entertains you.. I have found little bugs because I am to busy playing the game to be a Q and A tester. The game is amazing, everyone knows that, even the people that constantly complain about the game have probably put 100 or so hours into it and every other TES game they hated. I have put in 45 hours so far and am still overwhelmed with things to do. The game looks amazing on console, the story is great and there are FREAKING DRAGONS!!

....nuff said.

Arena: N/A

Daggerfall: N/A

Morrowind: 8/10 + element of surprise and cult worshipping

Oblivion: 6/10 - Morrowind cult disappointment

Skyrim: 9/10 + morrowind cult satisfaction - Real life expectations

It is a good game. Too many design fails to call it amazing. Doesn't even rank above OB on the TES ladder.

I think the lack of wild werewolves is because werewolves aren't supposed to be running rampant. They're monsters. The first one I ran into destroyed me. They rival a giant in strength. We don't want them to be weak little puppies.
