For your first playthrough

Will you rush just to see what the ending is? Or will you take your time? I know I'm really curious about House, so I might rush the play through just to see him.

Why would I want to rush through the game? If I wanted a game that lasts a few hours I would buy a shooter. I intend on taking my time and exploring everywhere, seeing everything, even if it means that I won't be progressing the main story for a fair while.

Rushing through games is so pointless and takes away the enjoyment of seeing what there is to see.

Initially I would have said yes. But since I've been learning more about the factions I'm starting to think probably not. So I picked undecided.

I am a bastion of decisiveness! Unless I change my mind again.

No, I will probably end up doing most of the side quests that are on the path to Vegas, plus exploration. The "impending doom" quests I will do immediately, because it will make sense that way. None of the "Help! This town is going to be destroyed really really soon!" "Can it wait a week or two? I'm gonna go do some other stuff. I'm sure the people that want to destroy your town will wait until I'm back."

Nope, I plan to go far as Primm and help(who ever my character likes) out there, then just do whatever.

Going to take my time, but when nearing the levelcap I'll start to focus more on the MQ to finish it before or shortly after the cap. I'll find out what I missed in other playthroughs, feels more interesting if every place isn't known to me after first run.

Sort of.
At first I'll take my time and just explore, maybe do a couple of sidequests, but then I'll blast through the questline.

I'm not the kind of person who rushes through games. I'm quite the opposite and I like to explore every nook and cranny.

I know for sure the first thing I'm doing is working towards becoming an NCR Ranger. Hands Down.

Yes, my first playthrough will focus on getting a feel for the game and to try to complete the main quest in a fun way.

i've rushed in many games, or instance one time(I've regretted this since the time i did this) I beat mass effect 2 within 2 days and haven't been able to get back into it since then. i played fallout 3 and explored the whole world mostly then beat it, and everytime i start a new character i just keep thinking i've done it all. so for NV i think ill play to a certain part on 1 guy, then make a new one and go another route so then when i beat it for one guy i'll I won't be far behind on the other.

With F:NV, i feel i allready know how the game feels and which mechanics it offers, from F3. So ill take my time.

Planning on starting out with hardcoe mode, hardest settings and really play carefully, taking my time and exploring every nook and cranny. Reading stories, computer notes etc.

no no no no x1000

I did that on FO3, rushed (well... moved quickly) to the end of the quest. Too quickly. The second time I played, I took time to explore, make the Wasteland Survival Guide, etc etc. Much better experience.

So no, with NV I'm going to take it very slowly, explore each area, take my time, savour the moment.

Honestly? I probably will only open my strategy guide to ogle the weapons and armour files, and completely ignore the walkthrough sections. I will start a new game, and after doing the Goodsprings start quest, I will pick a direction and go that way until I get distracted by something in another direction, I get killed, or I get bored. The first two are more likely.

I'm all about exploration so no. My first FO3 playthrough tapped out at about 100+ hours. I imagine the same will done on NV if not more.

No way, made that mistake in Oblivion, finished it in a couple of days, haven't played it since :/ RPG's aren't made to be rushed through, If I wanted to do that, I'd buy COD :P

i dont even rush through those. i play them like a real soldier (except i respawn and have wolverine's regeneration mutation), and never rush into the open spraying like most people.
