I run a 40" 1080p TV and a 1440x900 monitor. I've found out that some of my heavily modded games run better on the small monitor, but I want to keep my TV as my main display. So far the only way I've found to get games to play on the small monitor is to set it as my main. Is there a way to force certain games to start on a secondary display instead of your main display?

aside from maximized windowed mode, if there is nothing in the display/graphics settings i don't think there is any way other than changing your main display

Thanks, I guess I'll just have to keep playing with settings until I find something that works.

There are switch devices (Google HDMI switch for instance) that I think might do the job.

If you go this route, I suggest researching first. Interference could be a problem on a poorly made switch.
