Huge snow-dusted evergreens overlooking rolling tundra, dark, tangled, thorny woods on the shores of icy lakes, and misty, maze-like expanses of smaller trees obscured by snowstorms in the shadows of mountains.

Not entirely sure that's region-appropriate, but it did make me look up karst formations, and now I really want to see http://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/commons/9/90/Nahanni_River_-_The_Gate.JPG.

Forests with very large trees, the kind big enough for a person to make their home in. Lots of foliage and plant life native to the area. Bandits and refugees living in and amongst the trees.

Huge trees and dark lighting, very dynamic inviroment with owls on the branches and other birds, with mystical passages even under or inside a tree, and others more beautifull, glowing with many elves on the branches staring at you, something like lord of the rings i think

I don't imagine the elves working, they are not mythical, forest dwelling creatures in the Elder Scrolls games.

I like that idea. Imagine travelling through a dense forest with some trees being uncertain heights, and looking up you see small houses among them. Walk under and you hear someone whisper as each step makes the boards of their home creek above you. Walk in a bad region of the forest and an arrow whizzes past your head from above. Suddenly you are attacked by three bandits, camoflauged in the moss hanging among the branches.

THICK forests. The kind where you can really get lost and not see further than a few dozen meters because of trees blocking view. Shadows too, being that the canopy would block daylight. Like mirkwood as it was described in the hobbit.

Within the ancient pine forest is a large lake, and at its centre is an island, which is the home of a ruined castle. I want enviroments like Rothiemurchus in Skyrim.

Loving some idea's here. I'd like to be in a forest that is gloomy with some Luminous Rosulae (do they grow in Skyrim) glowing around the foot of trees amongst foilage lighting the forest floor up.

It's all about balance though, if the place is too chlastrophobic it will make the player not want to go in there much (like the underground subway thing in F3).

How about a tropical jungle inside a cave with volcanic activity? Steam gushing from geysers, and enough heat for palms, mangroves, strangler figs, etc. They didn't give us a Cyrodilic jungle, so we're owed one!

An interesting idea, however I don't think Skyrim has any volcanoes.

this would be fking awessome, be cool if there were like noticable birds flying treee to tree and u could see bird nests, some trees would fall over from storms and at night there would be an owl maybe one in awhile. could be awesome.
