Yeah, as soon as I noticed this happened to me, I quit playing. And a WEEK of this??? I hate sounding like an entitled jerk, but let's get real now! CRYTEK is the multi-million dollar corporation who should be able to pay their employees to work around the clock seven days a week so the consumers who paid for their faulty product can get their fair shake.

If they have been (which I seriously doubt), then their ability to COMMUNICATE on these forums or elsewhere about this issue feels straight-up amateur. They've pretty much done as good as job as I would do, and I hate having to come here to see if there is any sort of official response beyond one locked thread from six days ago. Ever heard of a status update, Crytek? You know, to let us know how it's going on fixing your totally broken PC version of this game??? In all fairness, you guys totally deserve the flak you're getting now. As the principal of Knibb High School said in Billy Madison, "I award you no points, and may God have mercy on your soul.".

tl;dr version: Fix the stupid bug already, I honestly believed you guys were better than this after playing Crysis. Giant let down.

I've stopped playing until this is fixed. Little point palying the game without being able to upgrade your suit.

I'd like to see 3 things fixed with regards to nano collection

1. No timeout for samples - preaching about "play it your way" is fine but not when sniping is so heavily penalised because the nano expires after so many seconds.

2. Make sure we keep our nano credits across savepoints/game sessions, obviously.

3. Make them a bit easier to spot - they aren't always where the enemy ends up after being killed. Also, if you kill an enemy in an unreachable place you're kinda stuck.

It's actually EA's fault. Crysis 2 isn't done yet. The polishing and extras have yet to be implemented. EA just didn't want to give Crytek more time. It's not the first time this happened tho with a game from EA.

Look at DA2. Same thing (maybe not as serious tho).

I even lost the Covert Ops module I bought just before I quit. There has to be something wrong with the game dumping the data to the save-files...
And just to make it clear: I bought it just before an autosave and quit a few minutes after that save.

I'll concede that I don't really follow the constant interplay between publishers and developers, and that games being rushed to market happens a lot.

But that's also sort of my point. It happens so often that people such as me almost assume the game is going to have its share of bugs. It is the glaring game-breaking-ness (great non-word) of certain bugs that make you go "eh?". When I played Fallout: New Vegas, it had a horrible game save bug that made me constantly make sure I wouldn't lose my time if it crashed. HORRIBLE bug, but it wouldn't make it so I lost all my money on all my saves and I could NEVER collect any money ever again or items. See the difference?

I believe developers and publishers BOTH have to take the blame for a game rushed to market. You think EA really held the proverbial gun to their heads and said, "SIGN THIS PAPER AND MAKE THIS DEAL SO YOU CAN HAVE MILLIONS OF DOLLARS!!!!!!!!"? No, it was a decision made by Crytek as well, in their need to expand and grow and to reach more consumers with the help of EA's marketing juggernaut or what ever. Things will be left by the wayside. It's just unfortunate that this time, those that get stiffed by this bug are being left there for a little while.

So while I empathize for the actual people who have to fix this, and created this game, which IS fun and good, I have very little SYMPATHY. They're being paid well. We pay well for the product. I want it to work without waiting hundreds and hundreds of hours after already paying just so I can have it work. Blame EA if you want, but I've heard that so many times.......

I totally agree. I see people complaining about DX11, prone, manual save and all sorts of other stuff. Nanopts not saving is far more important.
