Here it is! Apologies if I missed anything or something doesn’t make sense.
Name: Harry Patton
Age: 30
Race: Caucasian
Gender: Male
Height: 6’4’’
Weight: 225
Hair Style: Long-ish (about mid-neck length) and slicked back, though in an unkempt manner. Think of the ‘Blast Back’ style in FO3 and NV.
Facial Hair: A scraggily goatee
Hair Color: Auburn
Eye Color: Green
Skin Color: Light-skinned. Typically, he doesn’t tan well.
Body Tone: Well-built and fairly muscular. His shoulders are wide and his overall stature is imposing.
Appearance: Although by no means a lady killer, Harry facial appearance is one of a rugged handsomeness, as shown in his strong jaw and defined cheekbones. Largely as a result of a rough childhood and adolescence, Harry’s nose is crooked and has clearly been broken several times. Harry’s eyes are more like narrow slits, conveying his focus and grit. A faint scar from a wolf ambush marks his left cheek.
Armor/Clothes: In combat, Harry proudly dons his great-grandfather’s winterized combat armour; it’s a little worn with age, but it’s a hell of a lot cheaper maintaining it than buying a new full set.
Harry’s typical street attire: Thick green wooly jumper (often with sleeves rolled up), white t-shirt, charcoal cargo pants, black hiking books, fingerless gloves and an old lumberjack hat.
Weapons: In combat, (therefore on the offensive): Mossberg 500 combat shotgun, 9mm pistol, combat knife. Is apprehensive about using ‘nades.
When out about town or on a job (usually as some form of security in a saloon or store), a riot shotgun. Harry finds its defensive capabilities useful for crowd control.
Gear: Stimpak, water canteen, Rad-Away, pocket knife, whistle, and a snack, if he can find one.
Job(s): Harry used to work as a guard for his father’s small caravan company, but due to the ongoing hostilities and the adverse effect they’ve had on the caravan, that’s not a lucrative line of work. More recently, Harry has been advertising himself as a freelance security guard, his employers mostly being shop owners and saloon proprietors; the former paying him to watch their place overnight, the latter compensating him for keeping the rowdy folk in line and stopping their establishment from being burned down.
Personality/Bio: A descendent of Cpt. Andrew D. Patton, an officer who served valiantly in the Sino-American War and particularly the Anchorage Reclamation. Cpt. Patton remained stationed at Anchorage after the repelling of Chinese forces and fled to Whittier in the aftermath of the Great War, where he played a role in helping to build the community.
The Patton family has been settled in Whittier since the Great War, and has always been willing in offering its hand to the community – officiously so, at times. The Pattons are a proud and strong family, their bonds rarely broken. They are characterised by their tenacity, diligence and fervency in spirit – Harry is no exception. Like his father Danny (and his mother before she died of natural causes), Harry loves his town and sees it as a shining example for all thriving settlements. Indeed, any potential opposition to the peace Harry would wish to see thwarted and destroyed through any means – such jingoism is shared by his father and, to a lesser extent, younger brother, Hutch.
From a young age, Harry was encouraged to be competitive and, occasionally, violent in his father’s effort to prepare him for the unforgiving world outside. He often brawled with his brother and got in fights with others, even if they were, for the most part, innocuous little scuffles. Many wilderness and hunting trips meant Harry was well-learned in the art of survival and resource-gathering; he always enjoyed the seemingly tranquil milieu the wilderness provided, so when the influx of hostile tribal communities disturbed that peace, he became increasingly acrimonious about their being.
Although Harry’s father was always bitter about not being elected to sit on the Council of Four in spite of his services, he continued to serve Whittier proudly by running a successful caravan company, which generated a stable local economy and traded valuable goods efficaciously with all friendly settlements in the vicinity. When the caravan was basically put out of business by the aggression of the local tribes, the town slowly became drained of supplies and it became clear to Harry that they’d have to fight a total war against the barbarians. He readily joined the militia and was appointed a Squad Leader on the merits of his martial ability and all-around dedication to the cause. His amiable yet firm demeanor made him popular with his subordinates, whereas his superiors respected the industrious nature of his work ethic.
