_ :dead:

Appreciate it. Thanks.

Now though I'm confused.. had around a twenty year old character, said her weight was about 120 and some one jumped all over me for it.

Reason why I usually dislike filling out weight. No physics person, no weightentoligist.. if thats even a person.. but yeah...

That character though was also one of those characters who are self-concience of fat reserves and such.

Okay, the huge post I did should of caught me up in that one RP.

If you could call it huge. Don't know if you all will, but I usually don't type *that* much. Didn't take as long, just spaced it out.

Not a bad opening post at all Zuke. I definitely won't complain if you can keep your posts that length and well done. *Looks at my own that are that length* Keep it up, and you'll do just fine.

Jbutton, glad to hear you're going to have something up. Can't wait to see it.

As for everyone else: since my last post, only three people have posted, last time if was five. So let's pick it up a bit, we don't want this RP to stagnate from the very beginning, that just leads to an RP's downfall. I also just want to remind you all, that if you have something cooked up in your head, write it down to post, if you have something written down already, don't ever hesitate to post it . . . ever.

Josh, I expect to see something from you today since you said for the past two days, you've been working on an OP. I'm not expecting an OP chalked full of detail that sums up your character in one major post, so it should be done by now.

Undead Fiend, I know you said you had something cooking in that brain of yours, don't be shy to share with the rest now. ;)

Ranger Hawk, hope to see something from you as well, wherever you might be right now. Don't want to leave your character behind, or have to drop you from the RP.

Athell, you said you had something, let's check it out too.

The only way to get into an RP, is to participate, not sitting on our hands waiting for someone also sitting on their hands.

Hey guys, I took the liberty of making a map of our little settlement, based off the parameters the Doc set up for me. I know its not smooth and polished, but its a great reference for someone who wants to actually view what is where.

Oh, and for Housing section 4, its actually a little bigger and further into that blank space where the portage glacier highway sign is.

I may go more in detail in the actual town part later, explaining what stores are in what order via the picture, but until then, heres the order from right-left (from the pictures perspective):

Market Shops (Guns, Clothes, General) Inn/Bar/Restaurant, Clinic, Caravan Hub, Corral

The Saloon in town acts as a place for the towns people to get drunk and have something to eat, outside cooking one's own meals. No brothel though.

As an add-on to that question, is there an area that strictly serves food and pretty much segregates the drunkies from the high-class sober people?

Whittier's a town of hunters, scavengers, traveling mercenaries and caravaners, and other assorted lot like that. There is no high-class, especially since this is Fallout 2197, not Fallout 2281. Nothing more than the time of day separates the hordes looking to get drunk, and those looking to have a nice family meal. Think of Whittier as a tough town, where children are brought up around rough stuff. Their high morale against tribal hordes, should be enough to tell you that this town, though small and outnumbered, is not a place for pushovers and weak people.

I know I'm a bit behind, so I can see why you'd rather not, but is there still a chance I could get in on this?

I have read the entire IC now.

If you've read the entire IC, you've also read the OP of this thread, right? I just want to make sure you've got all the info and backstory, etc. down. If you have, go ahead and write up a CS for my approval.

I was just wondering, what is Whittier's total population? IRL, the most recent census has Whittier at 177, but considering Plainview's section alone commands about 50 or so militiamen (who double as regular townsfolk, I know) and there are four housing sects, I estimate a total populace of roughly 300-350 people. Is that about right?

And nice map, Ant. Very helpful.

More like 250-280, is what I'd say the population is at. The houses aren't all necessarily right up against each other, making room for other homes to be built, and there isn't necessarily a ton of family's in (Fallout) Whittier either.

Also, the "lake" isn't actually a lake, it's a bay.

All right, thanks. I'll remember that information for future posts. Feel a bit silly now calling it a 'lake' all this time.

EDIT: Post is up.

EDIT: Also, since you want to know, Strange, I was planing to have Jason be killed in a horrible way. Scarring Andrew mentally, so then he grows. He becomes cold as ice or a emotional [censored]. Depends on how I'm feeling when I do post it. Later on when the tribals do attack.

Haha. Keep your secrets to yourself, Undead Fiend! I like Jason. :(

You're at liberty to do what you want with my characters, Strangelove. I tend to get very attatched to my characters in stories (however small their role may be) and I have difficulty killing them off. It's probably better for that decision to be at your discretion.

I am, however, opposed to the possibility of having our entire squads wiped out. I can't speak for everyone, but I've drawn up (albeit in my head) backstories and personalities for each of my characters. Having them replaced by an entire new group of people would void a lot of my efforts. Then again, I guess that's war for you.

My next post will probably be when a messenger inevitably comes barging into the saloon for Plainview. I've got a good idea of what I'll be doing from there. Though that doesn't rule out of the possibility of a shorter post beforehand.

This has been a blast so far!

Strangely I'm good with all my characters dying bar James so long as they die in a way that's useful not just knifed in the back by a tribal in the night.

I.Did.The.Same.Thing.xD.Great.Minds.Think.Alike.I.Suppose.

I've came up with a background history for the just of my characters.. still trying to come up with a good one for Killometer (Aka Siento) and Henry. As you can guess by reading my posts, already making it clear the background for Jerome Elijha.

Maybe we could compare and contrast? :D o.o :o x)
