Ok, 360 version.
I went down to fort constantine and just after I launched that ICBM missile thingy (???) I ran down the stairs and there seems to be an invisible wall in front of me at the door.
Charon saw that there was one of those brain robots in there so he ran towards the invisible wall until he got through, but I can't.
Any idea on how to solve this?

Ouch. You get locked in that room during the launch and it sounds like the barrier didn't get removed.

How are you for save games prior to launching?

Nah the invisible wall was preventing me from continuing forward.
I went back out and finished another quest.
When I went back down the invisible wall was gone and I could complete the salvage operation.
So since the bug fixed itself out a mod can feel free to close this thread down.
