Forum image burning onto screen

You can change the way the forum looks and get rid of " than damn static warrior in the background" by changing the "Bethesda Softworks" option in the bottom left corner of the forums to "IP.Board"

Thank you so, so very much. I still wouldn't want this happening to other members though.

Edit: I prefer this white look to the dark vanilla Beth forum look anyway, thanks again, I had no idea I could have done that. Then again, I had no idea that it would burn onto my screen either.

Mate. Just click the dropdown menu in the bottom left of the forum. Change it from bethesda softworks to ip. Board

I will, but the weird thing is, is it only happens in game, under water. Something about that shade of green or somthing. Ive tried black screens, every color screen really, and it doesn't show up. Just when I'm in the water. Very, very weird. I will still do what you suggested though.

my cam isn't the best, but you can see the outline. And its obviously a lot clearer and annoying in person. Especially since I'm using a 37 inch tv as a monitor, I have to sit closer to it than you normally would a TV.

Please tell me you can see them.

I believe I did see faint outlines of certain parts. prominant around the shoulders and the top of the left (our right) bracer.

But yes that's screen damage man. Not much you can do about that but replace.

No problem, but yeah I agree that it should definitely something Bethesda should look into changing. Especially because some people may use a TV to browse the web and some TVs can be notorious for image burn.

Weirdest thing being Ive left this tv on with all types of images, from dvd menus, to anything else. even longer than how long it took for the forum image to burn on. My vizio has been excellent at not getting image burn. But somehow one hour on the forum last night was enough to do it.

How could I have missed that? I went through (I thought) every profile and forum option to try to change the colours. I have pretty bed light sensitivity and the white on black of these boards gives me a "venetian blind" effect after about 5 minutes and I could only browse for about 20 before I was essentially blind.
Thanks so much for pointing that out.

it has nothing to do with the image, its your screen that is dying, no need for the forums ppl to take the image off the forums

So theres no way to prove it? Great...

Sounds like you damaged your monitor somehow. Can you take a picture of your monitor with a high quality camera or phone camera or something?

I don't see anything o_O If the image was burned in, it would be monitor damage, not something you can see on a screenshot.

Edit: Open up paint or something, and make a full screen pic with a black fill. If you can see it then, it's likely burned into your monitor. I don' think that's fixable :/

depending on the monitor it might just go away. i can see a weak shilouette of any kind of static pic thats long on screen (like compass from skirim) for a couple hrs when the screen is dark
